Westinghouse is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, well-organized individual to assist the Wind division as a FieldSupport Coordinator,workingin the field (on site) to support the client's Construction department with document control, performance of end-to-end inventory management, and other general administrative responsibilities. This individual typically arrives on site up to one month in advance of first component deliveries and will stay through final turbine commissioning in support of project closure activities.

TheFieldSupportCoordinatorwill follow defined processes and procedures with respect to safety, documentation, and inventory with strong focus on ensuring system and process compliance.

The ideal candidate will have inventory procurement, inventory management and document control experience in a construction environment, preferably with SAP software or ERP experience. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and wind experience is a plus. This role is ideal for a team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Collects construction and site documentation for assigned projects and/or sites, assembles job books for each turbine on site. Processes,enters,and scans documentation including but not limitedtotransport, installation, commissioning, and QA/QC forms for reporting requirements with a strict daily deadline.
  • Controls end-to-end inventory movement transactions in SAP including receiving site containers, NCR components entering consumption, cycle counts, reconciliations, and coordinating container returns according to defined processes and procedures may be involved in physical loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Records and tracks all non-conformity reports (NCRs) in SAP for the project and ensures inventory is consumed and labor hours are recorded to NCRs appropriately.

  • Updates site progress software to ensure accurate scheduling and financial milestones are reached.
  • Input serial/commissioning data obtained from site technicians in SAP for the project.
  • With understanding of how field support activities fit into the financial aspects of a project, completes transactions in a timely and accurate manner, registers hours worked daily, and follows newly defined or existing processes and procedures that result from financial analysis performed by others.
  • Performs administrative tasks including, but not limited to, both physical and SAP system set up for new sites. For example, set up new vendors and order fixtures,containers, and supplies.
  • Orients technicians to required processes and procedures

  • Interfaces primarily with Construction Managers, Lead Technicians, and safety personnel on site
  • Ensures availability via various communication tools both in person (live and phone) and digital (email, Skype for Business, smartphone apps).

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience representing a combination of administrative support and warehouse experience.
  • Travel up to 100%. Will receive assignment to a specific site for 6 weeks to 6 months or longer duration.


  • Must have strong computer skills, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and ERP solution.
  • Experience (SAP preferred with Project solution) - minimum of 1 year.
  • Industry experience in wind and/or construction preferable.

**Overview**
Under direct supervision, the Field Support Representative (FSR) is assigned to a temporary in-house talent pool which provides replacement and/or short-term administrative services in place of Office Service Reps (and others) who are out of the office. The FSR will be assigned a home location but will be scheduled to visit other client sites within the region to provide multiple disciplines (fax, print, mail, reception and other duties, as assigned).
NOTE: This position requires heavy travel (up to 75 %), and requires either reliable public transportation or a clean driving record and a personal vehicle. Business travel expenses will be reimbursed.
**Responsibilities**
**CUSTOMER SERVICE**
· Ensures total customer (internal & external) satisfaction through understanding of customer expectations, proactive problem identification/resolution, and maximizing opportunities to build relationships.
**MAIL/PACKAGES/POUCHES**
· Receive, sort, and deliver all incoming mail & packages according to assigned floors and within established time frames. Wrap, seal, weigh, affix postage and dispatch all outgoing mail/packages in accordance with postal regulations.
· Prepare special outgoing inter-office pouches sent to client affiliates as scheduled (if applicable).
· Package and process outgoing overnight items, i.e. Federal Express, UPS, etc., to meet client and vendor deadlines. Log and deliver incoming overnight packages within established time frames.
· Log outgoing and incoming items as required and review for accuracy/completeness.
· In some locations, may be required to walk and/or deliver by transportation any legal package in a timely and proscribed manner. Secure necessary signatures and documentation to confirm delivery.
**SUPPLIES/COPYING/FAXING/ADMINISTRATION**
· Organize and distribute supplies to client. Verify and log orders upon delivery. Monitor inventory of copy supplies, stock paper and toner and keep supply area neat (inclusive of convenience copiers).
· Handle items for distribution to a segment of or all of client employees, affiliates, dealers, etc.
· Estimate runtime on the small to medium photocopy jobs. Check all copies produced for quality and accuracy. Produce bound copies of work when requested. Deliver and pick up copy jobs.
· May provide minor maintenance of photocopy machine such as solving paper jams, placing service calls and routine cleanings.
· Operate facsimile machines; send and receive facsimiles. Keep complete and accurate logs of incoming and outgoing facsimiles. Where appropriate, generate activity and confirmation reports, and call the receiver to confirm receipt as necessary.
· Perform other administrative duties from inserting, copying and photocopying to faxing as needed.
· Due to changing technology in office automation, will be required to learn new features and functionalities of copying machines, faxes, scanning, shipping equipment as introduced at the site.
**May possibly perform any of the following functions at the direction of the Site Manager:**
· Set up and maintain client's kitchen areas and conference rooms, order food and make coffee.
· Provide reception work such as answering telephones, taking messages and greeting visitors.
· Move boxes, supplies or furniture; replace light bulbs.
· May be requested to perform document scanning.
· Prepare outgoing items for shipping.
· Additional responsibilities that other employees at that site do not perform.
May prepare reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1-3 years' experience working in a mailroom or professional office environment.
+ Capable of performing the basic job functions under general direction.
+ Basic knowledge of metering, weighting, logging and other shipping procedures.
+ Basic computer skills required.

**Job Posting External**
**Job Duties**
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
+ Maintain a service van and its inventory.
+ Process paperwork after completion of each job.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Less than 2 years related experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
+ Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
+ Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
+ Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
+ Industry related training is preferred
+ Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

This position is based out of the Greenville branch and will provide support to Greenville, SC and surrounding areas.
**Job Duties**
