The function of Global Finance & Business Management is dedicated to continually making our business better - strategically, financially and operationally.

As a Summer Analyst in the 2026 Global Finance and Business Management Analyst Program, youwill collaborate with our top-tier professionals to influence and shape crucial decisions and initiatives that support our businesses across the firm, you'll have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while developing your professional expertise in a dynamic team environment, all while working with a collaborative, supportive team that provides essential training, mentorship, access and exposure to senior leaders, and projects that will engage your skills.

In this 9-week internship program, you'll be placed as a member on one of our finance teams where you'll work within one of our Lines of Business or Corporate groups. This role is a pipeline to our two year 12-month long rotational full-time Global Finance & Business Management Analyst Program where you will experience different functional groups and lines of business. Upon successful completion of the internship, you may receive an offer to return for the Global Finance & Business Management Analyst Program as a Full-Time Analyst in the same location as your internship.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and group heads by identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks and optimizing business performance by driving key initiatives.


  • Ensure the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controls over the transaction cycle; perform critical reporting and controls functions for the organization, including legal entity, financial and regulatory and product valuation.


  • Create meaningful analysis and reporting in support of our businesses. Coordinate with partners across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, creation, oversight and coordination of budgeting and forecasting.


  • Contribute to programs that are large scale and comprised of multiple projects and work streams. Initiatives drive cross line of business or firmwide agendas for implementation of new regulations, standards or policies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • A well-rounded academic background with an interest in financial management and data analysis
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant internship experience and leadership in school or community organizations
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • Working knowledge of data analytics, visualization tools, programming language tools, etc. (such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc)
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Index Match)

    We are seeking a Finance Manager to be a key member of the Amazon Payments FP&A team. This role involves providing financial reporting and analytics to support our leadership team in scaling and growing the business, with a focus on headcount and operating expense management. Responsibilities include consolidating financials across Payments businesses, analyzing P&Ls, developing forecasts, and delivering insights through deep financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of solving data problems and implementing new reporting solutions.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Build, report, and maintain P&L and financial metrics for Amazon Payments.
    • Drive automation in reporting and analysis tools to enable deep dives across business areas.
    • Identify and resolve data integrity issues, and improve processes to enhance reporting accuracy, with a focus on controllership.
    • Participate in financial planning, keeping leadership informed and engaged.
    • Enhance headcount and expense controllership.
    Basic Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
    • 5+ years of experience building financial and operational reports that inform decision-making.
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, with 5+ years of finance experience; or a Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • MBA or CPA.
    • Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
    • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
    • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
    • 6+ years of experience identifying data issues, root causes, and creating escalation plans.
    • 6+ years of delivering impactful financial models and analysis that lead to savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits.

    Amazon.com seeks a Sr. Finance Analyst to be a key partner for the high growth Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM) and Supply Technology businesses. This position will support owning P&L consolidation, reporting, and headcount and OpEx management. The role will also be responsible for financial modeling and analysis for ad hoc projects, reporting and variance analysis. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail oriented, and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including partner finance teams, engineering, product management, ad operations, and analytics.     Key job responsibilities:

    • Support forecasting efforts of operating expenses, headcount, and resource allocation.
