In this role, you will work closely with the Director of North America Finance and business partners in North America Sales to help drive strategic decision-making, provide financial insight, and build operational rigor and efficiency.
This individual will also partner with Speedboat and Central Finance teams, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations on a regular basis. Your Impact
Business Partnering - Trusted advisor and Finance partner to key Sales leadership within North America - Develop an understanding of their business and translate that into operational and financial information - Help develop various metrics and reports to monitor the health of the business on a regular basis, including identification of areas of P&L risk and opportunities - Deliver insights of data to help grow and drive profitability of the NAM business - Unlock growth opportunities through deep data analysis and implementation of effective analytical frameworks - Support the analysis, approval and execution of key operational activities such as headcount requisitions, program spend, purchase requisitions, and time and expenses - Able and willing to champion difficult but necessary trade-offs in the business
Planning for North America Theater - Translate Go-to-market strategy and company goals into annual Bookings, OPEX and HC plans - Actively engaged in the planning processes for North America, including driving run-rate analysis, topline and investment modeling, affordability analysis and budget allocation
Quarterly / Monthly Close, Forecast and Reporting - Guide and drive the Segment Sales financial close and forecast process for headcount and OPEX - Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analysis and key metrics that enable business decision making - Incorporate best practices and create a more streamlined, methodical and data-driven approach to drive forecasting accuracy, and drive a more efficient close process

Your Experience
- 8+ years FP&A experience with prior experience in strategy consulting or corporate/business strategy
- Experience with ERP and/or Planning Systems

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $116,000 - $188,000/YR. We are looking for a finance professional to join our team to train AI models. You will measure the progress of these AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve the quality of each model.
In this role you will need to hold an expert level of financial reasoning- a completed or in progress Bachelors/Masters/PhD is preferred. Other related fields include, but are not limited to: Financial Accounting, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Insurance Planning.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling, data analysis, and other reasoning exercises related to finance management
- A current, in progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is is preferred but not required

This position will be located in Concord, CA. Fully remote is not available. The Area Finance Manager will drive the preparation of capital/operating forecasts/budgets, trend analysis, and reporting focused on the supporting Norcal area network team. The Area Finance Manager will provide guidance to leadership on the financial trends and operational drivers behind the results and present reports on findings, including offering guidance on course corrections as needed.
Responsibilities- Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control for both the departmental operating and capital budgets and forecasts. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Use statistical and financial modeling techniques to analyze results and identify variances and underlying causes, opportunities, and risks. Provide actionable insights around trends, financial performance. Present findings to Senior Management, including suggestions for course correction.
- Utilize analytical and modeling capability to perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to enhance decision making across a range of options and present findings.
- Measure key performance indicators and benchmarking results across accounts, markets, business units, and channels and communicate results to leadership via dashboards and reports.
- Work internally and with strategic partners to ensure processes and procedures are in place for proper accounting controls and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Engineering
- Experience With SAP/BPC & Oracle/EPM.
- SQL (preferred)
- 7-10 Years: Experience In Analytics and Planning.
- Less Than 2 Years: Wireless Telecom or Equivalent Experience.

Base Pay Range: $86,300 - $155,700 Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
