Job DescriptionSurePods, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector. This role is responsible for conducting daily production inspections, ensuring adherence to quality control procedures, and providing support to management on quality-related issues. The position also involves reviewing documentation for accuracy, conducting tests on materials and products, and helping improve quality processes while collaborating with departmental teams to enhance safety and product quality. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: Supervisory Responsibilities None.Duties and Responsibilities Perform daily production inspections at various stages of the production line and completing necessary reports.Provide support and guidance to Management as required on relative quality issues.Review VOP's, work instructions, and blueprints for accuracy and effectiveness.Help to improve existing as well as develop new quality processes and procedures.Develop and conduct a variety of test on inbound materials from vendors and outbound products for shipping.Conduct Root Cause analysis.Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken.Educate productions team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.Create processes checklist and coordinate inspections with departmental managers.Responsible for final in-depth inspection before signing off and approving the product. General Description:

The QA/QC Inspector plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties. The QA/QC Inspector will represent ACCO and its subcontractors for pipe and equipment installation, welding inspection and oversight of subcontractor installation and quality. The QA/QC Inspector will participate in the General Contractors project quality program documenting installation activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
• Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether the product has been vetted by ACCO for future purchases from the vendor.
• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies, codes and procedures.
• Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
• Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
• Maintains a working knowledge of codes and specifications for current industry quality standards.
• The quality team may assign other duties.

Secondary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
• Prepares and presents technical information and reports to team members and management.
• Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the Site QC Supervisor or QA/QC Director in conjunction with the project team.

• Seeking at least 5 years of experience in Quality Control with a minimum of 3 years focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields.
• Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and /or ICC Mechanical - Commercial Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Regular & routine attendance.

DescriptionFluidra's looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTEThe QC Inspector position at Fluidra will be responsible (under limited supervision) of maintaining quality standards by reviewing incoming/in process materials and/or in-process production components, recording any quality results and maintaining quality records per company policy. This person will also support the First Article process from start to finish including dimensioning and documentation including submitting first article documentation to Engineering for approval. This person will interact with the Materials Dept. (Receiving, Production Planning/Scheduling and Inventory Control) personnel to assure accurate and efficient processing of incoming material from receiving; acceptance and disposition into the appropriate location (perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures) as well as with Engineering for First Article clarification and completion. Additionally, you will: Performs visual and dimensional measurements (first articles) of complex purchased and internal components using microscope, caliper, micrometer, pins gauge, gauge block, height gage, and drop indicator amongst other measurement equipment.Manage, conduct and interpret the results of component qualification (e.g., first article inspection) activities. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the Quality Control Inspector I , responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Perform receiving inspection.
• Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and/or Customer requirements, including delta and Internal FAI's.
• Perform delegated source inspection (per customer requirements).
• Provide training to other Quality Inspectors for in-process, Final, and delegated source responsibilities.
• Assist with identification and segregation of rejected products or materials.
• Maintain high level of integrity in dealing with all departments within the organization.
• Participate in teams to help improve safety, FOD awareness, and reduce rework.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Skilled using measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings/specs, engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
• Experience with PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Vision Requirement: Vision testing in accordance with NASA-STD 8739.6 (may be met with corrected vision using eyeglasses or contact lenses).
• Minimum of two years in Aerospace Manufacturing environment preferred.
