Employee assists Painters, Machine Operators, Welders, Material Handlers, and Leadperson in performance of their work. Employee works under close supervision. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:30pm; OT as needed
Essential Responsibilities
+ Load unpainted metal parts onto the Paint Line.
+ Load copper bars and pipe onto the Bus Insulation Line Conveyor.
+ Unload painted metal parts from the Paint Line and properly attach the required part identification label.
+ Assist with daily and weekly preventative maintenance of the Paint Line & Bus Insulation Line equipment and facilities.
+ Move parts from one manufacturing operation to the next operation according to the part routing.
+ Remove finished parts from sheet metal skeletons.
+ Sort and stack parts by part number & job number combination.
+ Assemble kits of parts to be welded.
+ Assist machine operators with various tasks upon request.
+ On occasion, be required to perform labor task such as painting, grinding, sanding or general cleaning task as directed by your supervisor or leadperson.
+ Lifting of up to 50 lbs. consistently.
+ End of shift cleanup is required.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or General Education Diploma preferred.
+ Ability to use computer software to control equipment or look-up company information.
+ Ability to use basic math, reading and writing skills to perform job function.
Skills, Abilities & Other Requirements
+ Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to follow company operating procedures, safety rules and ISO requirements.
+ Ability to learn to read mechanical part or assembly drawings.
+ Ability to read and use a linear tape measure.
+ Ability to work independently or part of a small team and perform required tasks with little direct supervision.
+ Ability to maintain a clean work area by picking up trash and sweeping the floor.
Working Conditions
+ Safety sensitive position in a temperature-controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities.
+ Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., safety shoes, hard hats, bump caps, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.
+ Must be able to work from all type of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders, etc.)
+ Working at heights usually no higher than 20 feet in the air on an elevated structure using proper lift equipment and Fall Protection Equipment.

General Production Worker reports directly to the Production Supervisors. In the absence of the Production Supervisors, General Production Workers are to report to the Production Manager. This position requires working effectively with quality, production, and sanitation personnel to maintain a thriving food safety culture and provide premium quality products.

General Production Workers are responsible for various manufacturing aspect within production while adhering to the standards SQF, FSMS and all applicable regulatory requirements. Fundamental job duties and responsibilities are to include the following, but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently carry out production activities according to production schedules and work orders.
• Complete required documents.
• Follow and uphold company’s policies and standards within the FSMS, this includes GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and the MSS.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean work environment.
• Resolve food safety issues within the scope of their job and with guidance from management and QA.
• Report equipment failure, non-conformances and actual or possible food safety issues to leads, management and/or QA.
• Assist with new hire training.
• Play an active role supporting the food safety culture.
• Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide perspective on continuous improvement for manufacturing.
• Assist within the department as needed.

The Bakery Production Worker rotates throughout several tasks in a production environment including filling, wrapping, and packaging product while adhering to food safety and quality procedures.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Operates and supervises continuous production line
+ Rotates among duties including the filler machine, wrapper machine, packing boxes, stacking boxes, etc.
+ Visually inspects product for quality and quantity
+ Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner
+ Understands and follows all safety procedures that apply to daily operations
+ Maintains a safe and clean environment by following all safety policies and procedures
+ Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
+ Adheres to Aramark and OSHA safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

**Qualifications**

Validated knowledge of bakery production methods and standards

Requires repetitive motion with hands and arms
Requires ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
