**Job Description:**
At Regions, the Asset Management Portfolio Manager serves as a Portfolio Manager for assigned managed accounts.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Manages a book of either Private Wealth or Institutional Clients by serving as the Portfolio Manager
+ Works with clients and multiple partners to development investment objectives and goals through discussion and identification of client priorities
+ Implements and communicates investment related changes based on Investment Working Group guidelines to ensure clients receive the Best Thinking of Regions Asset Management
+ Effectively Implement Portfolio Management Group Strategic Initiatives and may provide input
+ Leverage resources to maintain and increase efficiency to focus on clients at an effective level
+ Address and respond to all risk related items in a timely fashion including but not limited to: Investment Reviews, Asset Allocation Flags, and other risk reports
+ Execute the Regions Client Experience at an advanced level
+ Initiates and monitors required actions related to modeling and trading of client accounts
+ Works with all partners at an advanced level by building relationships to retain and grow revenue from existing client relationships
+ Participates and may lead the sales process with partners and teammates to identify and solidify new business opportunities focused on trust and investment management
+ Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the economy and markets to ensure effective communication to clients and partners
+ Participates in and may lead group projects as assigned by management
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree or International Equivalent
+ Five (5) years applicable knowledge or experience in investment/portfolio management, brokerage, finance, or equivalent
**Preferences**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
+ Technical Training in financial and economic markets
+ Progress towards Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)

**The opportunity**

As a manager in our Wealth & Asset Management practice, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients. You will manage tax compliance accounts for hedge funds and or private equity funds. You will review extensive securities analysis, make appropriate tax adjustments, and provide sign-off for the production and delivery of K-1's and partnership tax returns. **Job Summary**
Provides subject matter expertise and leadership for financial planning and analysis activities including developing the organization's short and long-term financial plans and identifying financial opportunities to improve profitability.
**Essential Job Duties**
+ Manages timely submission of analytics and reports required for the financial planning and analysis function.
+ Ensures the integrity and completeness of financial data and information contained in financial reports.
+ Reviews and develops analysis of financial trends and results of both internal and external financial data.
+ Oversees and develops forecasts and budgets to project future capital spend and/or profitability.
+ Assesses and develops models to evaluate risk and return of various business scenarios.
+ Effectively communicates financial planning and analysis findings and recommendations to senior leadership and customers.
**Required Qualifications**
+ At least 5 years of health care finance and/or analytical experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
+ Advanced training or experience in health care analytics.
+ Ability to convert data to meaningful reports.
+ Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail.
+ Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Strong time-management skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including key skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
+ Health insurance industry experience.
+ Experience with specialized financial analytics software.
