As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Manager, IT Operations to strengthen our in-house technology operations, manage key vendor relationships, and build scalable systems that support our people and protect our data.
As our Manager, IT Operations, you'll own and evolve our internal IT function. You will oversee the lifecycle of company-owned devices, manage our external IT support vendor, and ensure compliance with IT and data security standards in both the U.S. and EU. You'll lead IT-related projects and budgets, maintain internal SOPs, and play a hands-on role in onboarding new hires and troubleshooting tech issues. This role blends strategic oversight with tactical execution and is ideal for someone who thrives in a growing, values-driven environment.
This role is hybrid and will report to our HQ in Laguna Beach, CA 1x week. This role reports into the CFO.
Responsibilities:
Device & Asset Management
- Oversee procurement, deployment, and decommissioning of laptops and hardware
- Manage IT inventory and asset tracking across the organization
- Ensure timely setup and secure offboarding of devices for new hires and exits
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all software licenses
- Monitor and manage configurations for core systems to support secure, scalable infrastructure and employee experience.
- Track renewals, expirations, and maintenance agreements
- Identify unused or underused licenses to optimize spend.
- Recommend alternatives to reduce licensing costs (e.g., open-source solutions)
- Manage relationships with software vendors and licensors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our MSP
- Monitor and improve user satisfaction with MSP
- Audit vendor-led work for quality, control, and alignment with company standards
- Implement and monitor IT controls to ensure data security and integrity
- Maintain awareness and compliance with relevant U.S. and EU data regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Manage identity and access controls, ensuring secure implementation of SSO (Single Sign-On) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) solutions
- Configure and maintain security settings across enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry best practices
- Conduct regular audits of system permissions and access logs to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities
- Plan and execute IT projects including new system rollouts, upgrades, and tool implementations
- Develop and manage the annual IT budget in collaboration with Finance
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies that support team productivity and security
- Create and maintain IT SOPs, user guides, and internal documentation
- Develop scalable processes for recurring tech needs
- Provide IT training, troubleshooting, and support for employees across departments
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in an IT management or senior-level operations role
- Experience supporting mid-size hybrid organizations (150+ employees)
- Hands-on experience with device provisioning and management (Mac & Windows)
- Experience managing third-party IT vendors and holding them accountable to SLAs
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and EU data privacy and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross-functional IT initiatives
- Excellent communicator with a client-service mindset and strong documentation habits
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, values-driven environment

The Route Service Delivery Driver's primary responsibilities are to provide premium customer service to residential, commercial, and retail customers, accelerate growth through upselling, manage account information, and work safely.
