ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts of operations, process and efficiency; who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, instock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store

  • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement

  • Experience executing the daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

As a Reverse Logsitics Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.

  • Receive deliveries using the receive application and process all inbound store transfers to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Responsible for ensuring Direct to Store Deliveries (DSD) and Advance Direct to Store Deliveries (ADSD) are accurately received following the outlined processes.

  • Follow up daily to ensure all unacknowledged deliveries have been received.

  • Accurately handle all freight shipments related paperwork; make shipping arrangements when necessary.

  • Execute donations, Central Return Center (CRC), electronics recycling, transfer orders (store to store and sweeps), salvage and inventory removals (IRs) are in compliance with all DOT regulations and best methods.

  • Identify and handle environmentally sensitive item management (ESIM) in the reverse logistics area in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Complete the ESIM weekly log.

  • Process vendor credits and damaged/defective items accurately and in a timely manner to minimize shortage and compliance risk; handle merchandise returns according to company and vendor guidelines.

  • Responsible for maintaining all invoices and documentation per record retention guidelines pertaining to deliveries, ESIM waste pickups and all outbound shipments.

  • Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.

  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.

  • Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.

  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.

  • When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.

  • Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.

  • All other duties based on business needs

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

  • Previous receiving or reverse logistics experience preferred, but not required

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

  • Work both independently and with a team

  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes

  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

  • Climb up and down ladders

  • Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

    ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

    Experts of operations, process and efficiency; who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, instock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

    At Target, we believe in our team members having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The role of a Reverse Logistics Expert can provide you with the:
    • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
    • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency and improvement
    • Experience executing the daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
    As a Reverse Logsitics Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
    • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
    • Receive deliveries using the receive application and process all inbound store transfers to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Responsible for ensuring Direct to Store Deliveries (DSD) and Advance Direct to Store Deliveries (ADSD) are accurately received following the outlined processes.
    • Follow up daily to ensure all unacknowledged deliveries have been received.
    • Accurately handle all freight shipments related paperwork; make shipping arrangements when necessary.
    • Execute donations, Central Return Center (CRC), electronics recycling, transfer orders (store to store and sweeps), salvage and inventory removals (IRs) are in compliance with all DOT regulations and best methods.
    • Identify and handle environmentally sensitive item management (ESIM) in the reverse logistics area in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Complete the ESIM weekly log.
    • Process vendor credits and damaged/defective items accurately and in a timely manner to minimize shortage and compliance risk; handle merchandise returns according to company and vendor guidelines.
    • Responsible for maintaining all invoices and documentation per record retention guidelines pertaining to deliveries, ESIM waste pickups and all outbound shipments.
    • Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
    • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
    • Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
    • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
    • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
    • When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
    • Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.

    As part of the talented Navico Group Global Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new operational capabilities across Navico Group's global supply chain.     Essential Functions:

    Technology Exploration and Innovation
    • Proactively research emerging technologies and operational trends-such as IoT, AI, and IT system developments-through self-study, industry networking, and participation in relevant seminars or training.
    • Evaluate and demonstrate the practical application of these technologies within Navico Group's supply chain, including a clear business case supported by ROI assessments.
    Process Optimization and Reporting

    Data Management and ERP Optimization
    • Analyze multi-ERP data sets to identify opportunities for cost reduction, item consolidation, and supplier optimization.
    • Maintain item-level category naming structures within the Strategic Sourcing Spend Cube.
    • Advance EDI implementation across Navico Group by identifying gaps and leading execution with cross-functional teams.
    Supplier Performance and Collaboration
    • Develop and deploy automated supplier scorecards independent of ERP platforms, and continuously enhance them as organizational maturity increases.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with managers and suppliers to support the implementation of new supply chain capabilities, ensuring alignment and effectiveness through robust stakeholder engagement.
    Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
    • 5+ years progressive experience in related area
    • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization and globally (English)
    • Strong analytical skills (Microsoft Suite, Power BI, Emerging Technologies)
    • Experience with multiple ERP systems (Oracle/Syteline preferred)
    • Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects in fast-paced business environment
    Preferred Qualifications:

    Working Conditions:
