The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to Logistics Account Managers for the daily operations of their accounts. This includes synchronizing and expediting route movement for shipping and receiving of freight, arranging pickup and delivery appointments, and creating and inspecting bills of lading (BOLS) to determine proper invoicing.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accepting customer loads upon approval of the Logistics Account Manager, building loads, booking loads, organizing loads and tracking loads
- Notifying customers of freight arrivals, pickups, movement, and deliveries
- Maintaining lines of communication with carriers, customers, shipping, and receiving facilities
- Data entry into fleet management system and online customer/vendor platforms
