ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our office HQ in American Fork. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will use various software to clear queues and complete pending tasks, playing a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our security units and parts to their designated locations. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate shipping logistics, work closely with logistics companies, and solve complex transportation issues to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

*This particular position also requires registering with the state of Utah as an Alarm Agent. This process includes a federal background check/fingerprinting and an application. This is separate from the background check you would complete for general employment eligibility at LVT.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the shipping of security units and parts, ensuring accurate packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with logistics companies to schedule and arrange transportation, considering timing, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for logistics companies, providing necessary information and resolving any shipping issues that arise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex transportation issues, including delays, rerouting, and other logistical challenges.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts for repair or replacement purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any logistical concerns or special requests.
  • Place orders for parts needed and coordinate delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with logistics companies, vendors, and internal teams.

Who You Are:

Our Logistics Coordinators are responsible for processing inbound orders from our wholesale accounts, adjusting inventory databases and conducting inventory cycle counts, picking, packaging, and applying state compliance stickers to individual products to create a seamless order fulfillment process. This position will work in a fast-paced, team-work driven environment as we continue to expand our footprint in the cannabis wholesale market. Our Logistics Coordinators must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. What You Will Do:

  • Assist with material counts, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records
  • Works directly with the Inventory Coordinator(s) to compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
  • In conjunction with the Inventory Coordinator(s), prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages

  • Assists with all wholesale orders to include picking, packaging, counting, stickering, and scanning

Training & Advancement

Those pursuing a Supply Corps Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI. Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.

Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Supply Corps Officer through the following specialized training programs:

Navy Supply School (27 weeks) in Newport, RI, for training in inventory management, food and retail operations, leadership, management and problem solving.

Advanced Training

Advanced training for prospective Supply Corps Officers may also be available. This specialized training may cover subjects including transportation management, freight classifications, methods of working with civilian carriers and special handling of medical goods and explosives.

Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Post-Service Opportunities

It's also important to note that specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields like logistics and business management.

Qualifications & Requirements

A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. You must also attend Officer Training. There may be exceptions to the degree requirements based on extensive service experience.

To qualify for employment consideration as a Supply Corps Officer in the Navy, you must be a U.S. citizen, be qualified for sea duty and be willing to serve worldwide. Degrees in business, science, technology, engineering and mathematics are preferred but not required. A graduate degree is preferred by not required.

General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.

Part-Time Opportunities

Serving part-time in the Navy Reserve, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Supply Corps Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes. This gives you the flexibility to expand your profession in the Navy without compromising your civilian career at home.

For annual training, Supply Corps Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea or on shore stations at home and abroad.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent.

Who You Are:

Our Lead Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing inbound orders from our wholesale accounts, adjusting inventory databases and conducting inventory cycle counts, picking, packaging, and applying state compliance stickers to individual products to create a seamless order fulfillment process. This position will work in a fast-paced, team-work driven environment as we continue to expand our footprint in the cannabis wholesale market. Our Lead Logistics Coordinators must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate, dynamic and professional individual to join a team of exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with material counts, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records
  • Works directly with the Inventory Coordinator(s) to compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
  • In conjunction with the Inventory Coordinator(s), prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
  • Ability to utilize BioTrack to ensure our inventory records remain compliant with state rules and regulations
  • Assist with handling transfers and preparing manifests for our delivery teams
  • Stocks and issues materials or merchandise
  • Assists with all wholesale orders to include picking, packaging, counting, stickering, and scanning
  • Demonstrates a high level of detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks
  • Ensures accuracy in labeling and all product information
  • Acts with integrity and honesty while activity promoting the culture and the values of the company
  • Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the team

What You Will Bring:

Summary

What You'll Work On

What You Contribute

Shipping/Receiving and Stores Warehouse and cleanroom environment as needed. Willingness and ability to work on site. Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Requires lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed.

Base Pay Range Per Hour: $25.00 $32.00
