Logistics Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time; Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:30 am to 3 pm
Location: Multiple - split time between North Salt Lake and Tooele, UT
Hourly Rate: Starting hourly wage is $18.25/hr

Who You Are:

Our Logistics Coordinators are responsible for processing inbound orders from our wholesale accounts, adjusting inventory databases and conducting inventory cycle counts, picking, packaging, and applying state compliance stickers to individual products to create a seamless order fulfillment process. This position will work in a fast-paced, team-work driven environment as we continue to expand our footprint in the cannabis wholesale market. Our Logistics Coordinators must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. What You Will Do:

• Assist with material counts, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records

The **Inventory Control Clerk** is responsible for receiving, cycle counting, and managing all storage and movement of semi-finished goods and labels.
+ Review production schedules, create and close transfer orders, and escalate material issues within 24-72 hours as needed.
+ Use SAP to verify bill of materials, place warehouse orders, receive materials, and complete cycle counts.
+ Physically verify inventory, unload trailers, perform blind counts, and stage pallets.
+ Lead batch board meetings, track inbound/outbound shipments, and update SharePoint communications.

+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required - will be required to complete internal Forklift certification.

• Ensuring all parts and equipment needed for ship maintenance and repairs are ordered and received on time
• Overseeing all retail services, logistics and culinary operations
• Managing the inspection, shipping, handling and packaging of supplies and equipment

Work Environment

Training & Advancement

Those pursuing a Supply Corps Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI. OCS is a program that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of Navy Staff Corps Officers over the course of approximately three months. Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.

Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Supply Corps Officer through the following specialized training programs:

Navy Supply School (27 weeks) in Newport, RI, for training in inventory management, food and retail operations, leadership, management and problem solving.

Advanced Training

Advanced training for prospective Supply Corps Officers may also be available. This specialized training may cover subjects including transportation management, freight classifications, methods of working with civilian carriers and special handling of medical goods and explosives.

Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Post-Service Opportunities

It's also important to note that specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields like logistics and business management.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for employment consideration as a Supply Corps Officer in the Navy, you must be a U.S. citizen, be qualified for sea duty and be willing to serve worldwide. Degrees in business, science, technology, engineering and mathematics are preferred but not required. A graduate degree is preferred by not required.

General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.

Part-Time Opportunities

Serving part-time in the Navy Reserve, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Supply Corps Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes. This gives you the flexibility to expand your profession in the Navy without compromising your civilian career at home.

For annual training, Supply Corps Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea or on shore stations at home and abroad.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent.

Summary

The Senior Manager Logistics provides leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors, who are directly responsible for turn key warehousing and transportation solutions. The incumbent will have and maintain high level interface directly with the customer on a regular basis.

Lead Logistics Specialist

The Lead Logistics Specialist is responsible for assisting warehouse staff with maintaining safety, work instruction compliance, and a high level of customer service. The Lead will work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

What You'll Work On

• Maintain accurate logs and files for receipts, lot control, and daily shipments.
• Delegate and assign tasks to warehouse staff.
• Process domestic and or international shipments consisting of pulling the order, entering into the computer system, and scheduling carrier pick up.
• Help coordinate Inventory Control activities through cross-functional communication with Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments.
• Train personnel in inventory control and standard operating procedures.
• Pull releases from post sterile area to be placed in finished goods inventory and enters releases into ERP system.
• Update and maintain cycle counting on a routine basis with other staff members.
• Process daily reports for supervisor.
• Responsible for cross-training of all staff members.
• Maintain appropriate segregation of product awaiting release.
• Coordinate return of products from sterilization facility with sterilizer and freight carrier.
• Perform Receiving as needed for processing receipts.
• Lead process improvement projects.
• Escalates concerns or issues to management.
• Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.

Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day.
