Working as a Cook, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the orderly and accurate preparation of quality meals to customers' satisfaction and compliance with Health Department regulations. You will be expected to:
• Cook grilled items as needed
• Cook fried items as needed
• Assemble sandwiches as needed
• Assume responsibility for quality of products prepared and served
• Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
• Portion food products according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, counters and floors
• Maintain the kitchen to meet or exceed Health Department standards for cleanliness, food handling and sanitation
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
• Perform food prep and product portioning as needed
• Open or close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in opening and closing

• Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of your station and the restaurant by sweeping, mopping, stocking shelves, removing trash, etc.
• Store and rotate all products properly (follows FIFO)
• Properly maintain and use all equipment per manufacturer's and company specifications
• Maintain a friendly, courteous and cheerful demeanor at all times
• Present a clean-cut, neat and professional image
• Provide assistance to other employees to contribute to the best overall operation of the store
• May supervise and oversee other areas/stations and personnel depending upon management staffing needs
• Perform other duties or roles as assigned by management.

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a machine operator position to operate, maintain and troubleshoot our production line equipment at our Atlanta- West facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring lines are operating efficiently- minimizing downtime and adhering to safe practices. Production lines vary in heavy machine equipment and technical skills. Products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Starting Base Pay: $24.15 hrly with shift differential for overnight shift hours.

**In this role, you will:**
+ Operate machine production equipment/lines efficiently, ensuring set up, running times and maintained accurately.
+ Perform changeovers on all equipment, able to follow established procedures and protocols.
+ Troubleshoot, fix and repair any equipment malfunctions or failures, using your mechanical knowledge and skills.
+ Identify and accurate quality problems, working with teams as needed to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards.
+ Maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies and parts assigned ordering replacements as needed.
+ Assist with completion of improvement projects and equipment installations, working with the engineering team as needed.
+ Follow all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and responsibly.
+ Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with established procedures.
+ Attending all required training sessions, staying up to date on new equipment and technologies.
+ Safety is a core value at Clorox; therefore, all employees must perform all their work in accordance with OSHA and Clorox safety standards.
**What we look for:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).
+ 1-2 years previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment (3+ yrs. highly preferred).
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with equipment.
+ Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, as well as quality control principles.
+ Good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with vendors, suppliers, and team members.
+ Able to identify root causes, problem solving skills (highly preferred).
+ Must be able to work in a team environment - strong interpersonal skills
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
+ Strong attention to detail, able to follow established procedures and protocols.
+ Work timeframes of 12 hr. shifts- rotational, flexible for overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours.
