What Youll Get to Do

The Manufacturing Manager - Anodizing is focused on monitoring the manufacturing activities in accordance with engineering specifications, time schedules, expense budgets, quality standards, cost goals and employee safety / performance / development and reports to the Assistant General Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who wants to learn, develop and perform in a safety oriented and team driven environment. A vital member of the Manufacturing Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Supervise a diverse work group including the racking, unracking/inspecting, tank and crane operation, lab and wastewater
  • Monitor and manage production
  • Assist in development and maintain process documentation and work
  • Facilitate problem solving efforts, identify root causes, implement solutions, audit and report results to the Anodize Manager and Maintenance
  • Train employees and facilitate goal oriented continuous improvement processes to reduce waste and improve processes (Processes include, but are not limited to: OpEx, Lean and 5S techniques).

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Have a basic understanding of inorganic chemistry
  • Ability to learn and understand the Anodizing process and Crane
  • Experience with the Toyota Production System approach.

Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the production and assembly of lithium-ion battery packs. Your efforts will be essential in stabilizing and scaling operations, focusing on production support, tooling, and process improvement on the assembly floor.
Responsibilities
+ Provide day-to-day production support for battery pack assembly.
+ Design and implement fixtures and tooling to enhance assembly efficiency and safety.
+ Collaborate with technicians and engineers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
+ Resolve issues with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
+ Interpret engineering requirements and propose rework solutions for assembly challenges.
+ Support semi-automated equipment and robotic systems used in the assembly process.
+ Be present on the production floor the majority of the time, working directly with the team.
Essential Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.

We are seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in building, testing, qualifying, and producing next-generation spacecraft. This role is pivotal in applying innovative solutions and advanced technologies to solve complex manufacturing and engineering challenges at both the system and component levels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transition from development to production, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary technical contact for production-related issues, ensuring rapid resolution and implementing long-term corrective actions.
+ Manage non-conforming materials and lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC).
+ Create and update shop orders, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to support continuous production flow.
+ Develop and maintain troubleshooting documentation for production test hardware.
+ Collaborate with design, quality, and test engineering teams to support both development and production programs.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other Operational Excellence methodologies.
+ Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic systems.

This role is based onsite in Kirkland. The work schedule includes options for front half days, back half days, front half nights, and back half nights, allowing for flexibility in shift selection
Front Half Days:
(1) - Sun-Weds 6am - 4:30pm
Back half days:
(2) - Weds-Sat 6am - 4:30pm
Front Half Nights:
(1) - Sun-Weds 5pm-3:30am
Back Half Nights:
(1) - Weds-Sat 5pm-3:30am
