Job Summary

The primary purpose of this job is to perform a wide range of functions such as installation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and systems. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to Integer Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

2. Performs mechanical maintenance, service and repairs to production equipment. May perform basic electrical and controls troubleshooting.

3. Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance duties on equipment.

4. May assist manufacturing engineers in the qualification, debugging, and repair of equipment, including nonroutine assignments and technical support.

5. Ensures appropriate functionality, and operation of semi-automated and automated systems.

6. Performs troubleshooting of moderate complexity; repairs, modifies and maintains systems and/or equipment.

7. May derive and carry out testing methods and/or interpret drawing and specifications.

8. Responsible for communicating status of investigation activities to appropriate department stakeholders.

9. Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.

10. May design, recommend, assemble, and install equipment/apparatus and processes for product fabrication, research and development or analysis and testing.

11. Contributes to the development and compliance of ISO and GMP quality system.

12. Under supervision, performs assignments of moderate complexity; receiving instructions on the method of execution, and specific expected results.

13. Documents tasks, PM results and or corrective actions in CMMS.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: High School Diploma, Associates preferred

Minimum Experience: 3-5 year experience trouble shooting manufacturing equipment and systems(with HS Diploma) 2-3 year experience (Associate's)

Specialized Knowledge: Analytical Trouble Shooting. Ability to read technical drawings/prints. Technical writing skills. Strong mechanical/technical aptitude. Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities.

Special Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
  • Support AM engineering staff in the execution of additive manufacturing projects according to project schedules
  • Set-up and operation of a variety of metal 3D printing systems including cold spray, laser powder bed and DED supporting equipment and hardware including maintenance and repair of equipment from time to time
  • Work with various types of analytical equipment to characterize feedstock powders and metals produced by the various AM processes (including but not limited to metallography, mechanical testing and metrology)
  • Collect necessary data to support project objectives and reporting requirements
  • Understand 2D and 3D drawings and be able to extract pertinent data
  • Support equipment preventative maintenance schedule and calibration efforts as needed
  • Support project engineers and project managers in project planning processes by identifying and estimating level-of-effort required for proposed projects
  • Mechanical assembly of tooling, fixtures, and equipment enhancements
  • Maintain accurate and legible records of project work and test results
  • Achieve established work-area cleanliness standards and maintain a high-degree of organization in work area(s)
Minimum Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :
  • Good working knowledge of 5-axis machining
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with machine tool practices and standard cutting methodologies for various materials
