• Documents receipt of raw materials and submits all corresponding paperwork to the shipping office.
• Unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site; Supplies production lines with the raw materials as needed.
• Inspects forklift for safety prior to operation on each shift.
• Store raw materials in designated bins in raw material warehouse. Stack pallets neatly with labels visible.
• Responsible to maintaining all process equipment.
• Responsible for cleaning filters on production lines.
• Organizes bans and stacks empty gay lords and pallets. Coordinate with the shipping supervisor on the disposition of this product.
• Gathers all scrap plastic and loads on scrap plastic truck.
• Maintain loading lines to hoppers / vacuum pumps
• Troubleshooting machinery to correct issues as required
• Ensure housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean, and free of materials

• Qualified candidates' will have 1 to 2-years' material handling experience in a fast-paced production environment; Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program preferred.
• Ability to perform simple calculations and apply good mathematical reasoning
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound, as necessary. Efficiently move product, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Job Summary:

The warehouse associate is responsible for multiple responsibilities including but are not limited to: accurately filling and scanning of customer orders prior to shipment, operating a forklift vehicle for the purpose of loading material onto trucks for shipment and unloading material and other supplies. Typical unit length is 16'. The warehouse associate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and the organization of the shipping warehouse. This role will be working outdoors 50% of time.

Responsibilities:

Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner according to company guidelines.
Inspects and records maintenance on vehicle at the beginning and end of shift.
Uses forklift to move material from warehouse staging location to the trailer for loading. Utilizes proper loading techniques to ensure the material is safe, stable, and secure on the trailer. Checks trailer for accurate shipment and bill of lading; unloads trailers containing lumber, etc.
Oversees the organization and inventory of the shipping warehouse.
Complies with company standard operating procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards.
Operates a handheld scanner to pick material from dedicated locations in the warehouse.
Efficiently picks customer orders for shipment ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage.
Appropriately lifts and stacks material on carts to ensure material may be properly wrapped, package units when pulling is completed, prints and places shipping labels on materials.
Assists with physical inventories as required while maintaining a orderly work area.
Complies with company standard operating procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards.
Attends safety meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; and 6 months to 1 year related experience or on-the-job training
Must be able to complete an internal certification process.
