We seek a dual-state licensed board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist to join our company and growing psychiatry team. Our Team is composed of our co-owners and six other Psychiatrists, with an expansive multi-disciplined team of around 100 clinicians, including Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and Mental Health Counselors. The individual for this role will start by assisting with some basic program and workflow setup in collaboration with senior leadership. They will then begin seeing their own patients (weekly target of 40-45 patient sessions) as they acclimate to our practice. We anticipate the individual will assume some supervisory responsibilities over the course of 3-9 months of starting (the timeline for this transition is based on business needs). A hybrid position is strongly preferred. We have a charming office near Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal for easy commuting in New York City, NY. Application Window: Until the end of July 2025, if still vacant. Anticipated Start Date: Based on the length of the interview process, the candidate chosen, credentialing (90 days minimum), their resignation period, and our needs, we anticipate it will be between 100 and 160 days from extending an offer. Job Description

Provides direct care as assigned for a designated group of patients. Performs functions requiring skill and competence such as, but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG, obtaining specimens and cultures, activities of daily living, simple wound dressings and vital signs. Shares accountability for quality patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility

• Assists with the unit's admission and discharge processes.

• Establishes good interpersonal relationships with families/visitors and hospital staff.

• Reports vital information to all levels of the healthcare team, as needed.

• Conveys needed information to patients and visitors.

• Maintains good communication with co-workers for proper team functioning.

• Communicates pertinent patient observations to members of the health care team.

• Facilitate Telehealth encounters as needed.
• Administer total care (bed bath, partial or complete).
• Assist with patient's hygiene - including skin care, mouth care, shaving, etc.
• Transfers patients - in and out of bed, stretcher, and wheelchair.
• Positions patients and carry out a range of motion exercise.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Assists with unit patient admissions and transfers.
• Measures & records patients' vital signs (such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, etc.) in the electronic health record.
• Perform EKGs as required and follow outlined procedures for submitting abnormal EKGs.
• Perform dry sterile dressing changes and assist with other patient treatment.
• Administers hot and cold applications to patients under supervision.
• Perform blood draws and urine testing.
• Chaperone staff in all clinical areas when requested.
• Perform tasks consistent with the PCA job description.

• Responding to/addressing medical emergencies, such as falls, heart attacks, strokes, burns, and recovering post-operative patients.
• Provide clinically appropriate care as directed by the Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
• When clinically indicated, provide care, such as CPR, AED, prevent shock, control severe bleeding, prevent spinal damage, etc.
• Monitor patients' condition and keep them stable enroute to the clinic.
• Aid in preparing patients for transfer to emergency units or hospitals.
• Document the medical treatment that is given to the patient.
• Keep the equipment clean after use; check and replace damaged and used supplies.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy to replenish supplies.

• 2 years of Med/Surg experience required

• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
• Moving, lifting, or transferring patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Fine motor skills.
