Radiology Tech/GXMO duties: Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Job Requirements:
Radiology Tech school graduation and license in Ohio.
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Healthcare with GXMO certification
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Computer apptitude, CPR certification, EKG, Injections, Venipuncture
Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; or
Associate's degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution; or
Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489(b)(3)(ii) (see NOTE 2); or
Successful completion of at least a 50 week official US military medical laboratory procedures training course and currently hold or have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician).
Preferred
Completion of certification/licensure requirements that meet CLIA/CAP requirements for the performance of high complexity testing
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
No experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Radiology Tech/GXMO duties: Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a physician. These duties are delegated in relation to the individual's degree of training, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization and respective state laws governing such action and activities. Will also perform Medical Assistant duties: The position assists the physician in examination of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of the physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment room for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position's tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.
Job Requirements:
Radiology Tech school graduation and license in Ohio.
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Healthcare with GXMO certification
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Computer apptitude, CPR certification, EKG, Injections, Venipuncture
Performance of common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy
Prefer experience Clinical Healthcare, experience required if MA
Job Responsibilities:
Performs scans within the scope of licensure/certification and under supervision of provider; update patient record; keep patient calm and comfortable during scan
Exhibits professional image and behavior toward patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers and creates a positive impression consistent with professional etiquetee. Follows JCAHO and HIPPA protocols regarding patient information.
Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.
Employee exhibits dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality and the timely performance of duties.
Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments.
Demonstrates proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children.
Skillfully and accurately adminsters child and adult medications/immunizations.

Job Description SummaryThis position operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. He/ She is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol.
Responsibilities And DutiesObtains patient clinical history for procedure. Reviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media. Administers oral and IV contrast media. Operates CT scanners for variety of procedures. Coordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments. Monitors quality in patient care functions.
Minimum QualificationsAssociate's Degree (Required)ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, DL-HC - Driver's License only if in a Home Care department - Department of Motor Vehicles
Graduate of an accredited radiography program ODH Ohio Radiologic LicenseBLS Certification . Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
For this position, in the Home Care department only, Minimum Qualifications include: Valid state driver's license, Minimum of eighteen (18) years old, Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Must provide proof of insurance, if applicable.
