Provides Chemical Dependency services and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, significant others of CD patients, and families under indirect supervision. Essential Responsibilities:
- Answers and triages patient calls for information, Tx services, general CD advice. Responds to and appropriately handles crisis calls.
- Provides higher level assessment (e.g. other, non-CD, MH diagnoses; danger to self or others; non-CD crisis evaluations; emotional/family dysfunction).
- Performs intake and psychosocial assessments.
- Develops and presents treatment plans to CDRP/S treatment team for recommendations, revisions and approval.
- Participates in clinical case conferences.
- Conducts chemical dependency focused educational lectures.
- Provides general chemical dependency counseling to include individual and group counseling services.
- Provides Adolescent, Significant Other, Family and Multi-Family therapy as assigned.
- Provides case management services to include resource and referral coordination.
- May perform mentor functions/clinical direction to CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, licensure candidates and Alcohol or Drug Certificate candidates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years post graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years required.
Education
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other field related to behavioral health.

Base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $115,000 per year based on a full-time schedule. How You Will Contribute:
The PRN Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) interacts with the clients and team members throughout their shift, assisting direct care staff in meeting client's functional needs. This person collaborates with team members to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment is maintained within the treatment facilities. - Prepares clients for discharge through individualized counseling and instruction prior to discharge in a clear and concise manner; providing written instructions if needed.

- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families and children in a clinic-based or private practice setting.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, working with children birth to five and their families in any capacity (teaching, mental health, school, center, day care, etc.).
- Knowledge of trauma informed care, ACEs/PEARLs, mental health and developmental issues with children 0-5 years.
Professional/Technical Certifications:
- Must have current license in the State of CA (LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist) - and registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or the Board of Psychology (BOP))); must maintain current CA BBS/BOP licensure in good standing for the duration of employment.
- Maintain First Aid & CPR certification.
Travel :
- Some travel/business related driving required; Staff may choose any mode of transportation (driving, walking, bicycling, carpooling, etc) to arrive to and depart from the location where attendance is required. Should a staff member choose to drive, the staff member must become an approved driver with CCRC prior to driving on behalf of CCRC. Approved drivers driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver's License and receiving DMV clearance

We're hiring a Traveling Mental Health Therapist to support our clinical teams across the country. If you're an independently licensed therapist with a passion for eating disorder treatment and the flexibility to travel 75% of the time, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities Include::- Provide direct clinical services (individual, group, and family therapy) at Monte Nido residential and day treatment programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers, dietitians, and other therapists.
- Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care for clients with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Travel to Monte Nido programs across the U.S., primarily in California, Oregon, and New York, with flexibility to obtain licensure in additional states (paid for by Monte Nido).
- Adapt to and uphold the Monte Nido clinical philosophy, integrity, and treatment model when working across multiple sites, ensuring consistency in client care and program standards.
- Master's degree in a mental health field (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD).
- Independent licensure to practice psychotherapy (must be fully licensed, not pre-licensed).
- Licensed or license-eligible in California, New York, or Oregon .
- At least 2 years of clinical experience , preferably in eating disorders, trauma, or related mental health fields.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time (travel and lodging are fully covered).
