As a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending, you will take your clients on a first-class journey to home ownership and deliver strong sales results. You will put your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home lending products to good use by serving as your customers' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan. You will adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting the financial products offered by Chase.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
+ Works together with bankers, meeting with their customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services
+ Partners with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts
+ Develops a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories), and can function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships
+ Builds role as the internal and external mortgage expert; builds and maintains good relationships with customers; and exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and knowledge of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Minimum three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
+ Knowledge of real estate market in local area
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ FHA/VA sales experience
+ Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
+ Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. About the role
We are seeking experienced, driven, and focused Financial Advisors to join our fast-growing firm. Candidates must be dedicated to growing a practice while providing a very high level of coordinated advice and service to their clients. Our Financial Advisors must be proficient with advanced Wealth Management techniques on all facets of investments, taxes and trust and estate planning.
Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, servicing existing clients, demonstrating proficiency in sales and integrating the advice of CFAs, CPAs and JDs into the client relationship. Our target market is high-net-worth Individuals with assets in excess of 3M.
This role works with individuals and businesses to meet long-term investment and financial goals including retirement and estate planning with a strong emphasis on tax reduction. Once a comprehensive financial plan is developed, assistance is provided to the client in all phases of implementation. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients while also servicing existing clients. In addition, you will be able to show your sales skills as you will help drive and close new business.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a four-year degree and the CFP designation
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese
- 7+ years in financial and/or estate planning related work, preferably at a professional financial services company or wealth management firm
- Expertise in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis
- Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities
- Highly motivated with ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter by nature
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time-sensitive basis, as well as interacting with tight-knit team of professionals with a range of financial and tax activities.
