We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Security Architect to support a financial services client in designing and implementing advanced traffic visibility and packet capture architectures across hybrid environments. This role plays a critical part in securing cloud and on-premise infrastructure through comprehensive inspection, decryption, and data forwarding solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage tools such as Palo Alto, Zscaler, Coralight, and TAP technologies to enable deep packet inspection, policy enforcement, and integration with SASE and DLP platforms. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement comprehensive traffic visibility solutions across cloud and on-premise networks. Design secure pipelines for data ingestion, such as exporting Palo Alto traffic logs to AWS S3 for analytics and DLP use. Deploy and optimize TAP and packet broker infrastructure (e.g., Coralight, Gigamon alternatives) for scalable packet inspection. Integrate decryption strategies to support visibility into encrypted traffic for both internal systems and end users. Collaborate with security architects to embed SASE principles and policy enforcement into network inspection workflows. Guide segmentation and traffic flow strategies across hybrid infrastructure using Palo Alto, Zscaler, and TAP technologies. Act as a technical liaison between internal teams and OEMs to ensure alignment of traffic visibility solutions with performance and compliance requirements. Network Security Engineer with relevant experience building and supporting proxy appliances in large scale enterprise datacenters
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build out, deploy and document the customer proxy-based Edge Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solution. •Cross-team co-ordination and collaboration to ensure end to end project delivery. •Need to support Operations team for day to day running of the platform along with triage and troubleshooting of any issues that arise. Adherence to client's Change Management processes and responsibilities related to updating documentation and tools
•Ability to quickly adapt to changes and strong appetite to learn new technologies will be desired.
Primary Skills:
7 years' of experience in development or security/cybersecurity roles.
•5 years' of experience building and supporting a suite of Broadcom products including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC)
•3 years' of experience with Proxies, Client File generation, Upgrades of software, Certificate file renewal, Whitelisting and URL access troubleshooting.
•Good Automation expertise with scripting skills for automation of a Proxy environment.
•Good understanding of network infrastructure, application layer protocols ( and vulnerability mitigation
•Familiarity with Load Balancing concepts
•Must be highly proficient in network security concepts
•Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigate purposes
•Role is not 24x7 but would require maintenance schedules.
Secondary skills:
Experience with other Secure Gateway vendors: Zscaler, Netskope, Umbrella, etc
•Experience in networking and security is highly desired.
•Strong Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum.
