**Job Title:** Dental Assistant-Sterile Processing (Cert)
**Location:** Brooklyn, New York
**Pay Range:** $28-32/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students.
+ Operates sterilizers and administer sterilization processes of all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment
+ Assist in the administration of IV sedation and patient monitoring during surgical procedures.
+ Provide pre-op and post-op instructions to patients.
+ Ensure familiarity with the correct materials for packaging, wrapping, and sterilization methods of all instrument sets and trays.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2+ years of related experience in a dental setting.
+ Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program.
+ Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment.
+ 1-2 years of related experience including oral surgery experience with IV sedation/general anesthesia.
+ Valid Sterile Processing Technician Certification.
