• Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.

• Technician Duties. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.

JOB SUMMARYThe Patient Care Technician (PCT) will provide support to the ASC staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality care is provided at all times. Duties will include assisting pre and post op nursing teams in basic patient care and in prepping the facility to ensure safe and clean at all times. The PCT directly reports to the ASC Administrator. JOB DESCRIPTION Transport patients safely through facility Assist with turning over operating rooms between cases occasionally Assist in monitoring and recording in environmental and equipment log. Answer phones and data entry. Uses equipment in safe and effective manner; reporting repairs to appropriate person. Competent and responsible in prevention of contamination and transfer of infection. Assist RNs in pre-op and PACU. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting.
