Warehouse associate: Shipping-Picking
Ensure QED's customers receive prompt and accurate orders. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, storing, and delivering a wide variety of materials and supplies.
What you'll do:
- Load, unload, and move materials from storage to staging sites and/or designated areas per each sales ticket. li>Use work orders and verbal instructions to assemble materials and containers which need to be picked, moved, or staged.
- Collect and pick all materials included customer orders using the pick ticket.
- Package merchandise for shipment to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce damage during the shipping process.
- Properly wrap, label, and mark material for easy identification and loading.
- Use Eclipse to confirm picking and staging of materials, ensuring proper piece count for drivers and customers.
- Load materials onto vehicles and properly secure cargo.
- Unload incoming vehicles, prepare necessary receiving documents, and receive the materials.
- Document shipments and changes in inventory using Eclipse.
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment on a routine basis.
- Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area. Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Count, weigh or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records; examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with purchasing.
- Ohter duities may be assigned.
- Startingrate: $20.00-Hourly
- Schedule: 10:00am -7:00pm (Monday-Friday)
What you'll bring:
- Knowledge of automated or computerized system operation.
- Data-entry, reporting, and recordkeeping skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices, and wears PPE as assigned.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment. Must be Forklift Operation Certified after hire.
- Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to read and interpret invoices and packing slips.
- Must be a team player and abide by QED's strong core values and beliefs.
- Strong communication skills both orally and in writing. Able to present information to management, customers, vendors, employees, and the public.

Job Description:
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
