Main Job Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent, professional customer service

**ROLE SUMMARY:**
**Sales Representatives** are responsible for being full "owners" over their sales route, determined to grow market share in all segments of the business by drawing on the Company's vast portfolio and engaging consumers through point of sale, shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts. **JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:**
+ Responsible for fulfilling pre-established objectives set by the District Sales Manager and implementation of Company programs at retail level.
+ Visit assigned retail accounts and utilize company portfolio to sell volume, increase distribution, monitor price, and manage shelf space
+ Build business relationships with and present professional sales presentations using sales data and sell sheets
+ Increase shelf space and position for Anheuser-Busch products; introduce new brands and packages when appropriate
+ Responsible for maintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating stocks
+ Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
+ Work with the credit department to resolve credit issues including collecting past due balances.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**

As a Leaf Home territory sales representative, you will work to provide potential customers with your expertise and education about the benefits of LeafFilter gutter protection and gutter replacement.  By doing a quick home inspection from the street we will teach you how to identify potential homeowner challenges that Leaf Home has the solution for.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads for our outside sales team by covering an assigned territory each day, going door to door and engaging prospective customers at their home about Leaf Home products (local travel required).
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to educate consumers on the benefits of Leaf Home and gather information for the sales team to reach out and schedule an in-person product demonstration.
  • Report daily results to the field management team and develop a collaborative working relationship with other sales representatives.
  • Ensure a high quality and accurate representation of Leaf Home products by representing the company professionally and ensuring that potential customers have an exceptional experience.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Valid Driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle. 
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Highly motivated to sell with a self-driven desire to meet and exceed goals.
  • Customer focused and results oriented.
  • Professional demeanor and attire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

 

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work outdoors daily with exposure to the elements including inclement weather.  Extended periods of walking / standing required.
  • Field office/manufacturing/construction environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Position Overview:

This is an outside sales position working in your own assigned sales territory. We will train you to call on small and medium-sized businesses that operate in a variety of industries, meeting face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to offer some of the industry's best supplemental insurance products and services to them and their employees. You will work with business owners, benefits managers, and their employees individually at times; other times, you will give product presentations with employee groups as large as 50-100+ people. You will be expected to:
  • Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients
  • Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients to review their needs
  • Be present on scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or manager
  • Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be reserviced: Selling Business to Business
  • Build and maintain your own book of business
  • Meet with sales team manager as needed to discuss and set your upcoming monthly and quarterly target sales goals and quotas
  • Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory
  • Set your own scheduled working hours and submit them to your sales manager each week
  • Follow up on provided sales leads and cold-call on businesses in person, balancing "cold" lead generation and sales with your warm leads and appointments with existing clients
  • Submit your sales metrics and activity daily

Responsibilities
+ Safely operate a commercial vehicle and diligently perform all duties in a safe manner, including vehicle inspections.
+ Efficiently manage customer base within established route with an average of 50+ stops per day.
+ Use application based handheld system to key transactions and manage customer data.
+ Manage inventory and balance daily route activities.
+ Complete service calls and resolving customer issues to help develop relationships with our customers.
+ Protect company assets, including collection of equipment and customer payments.
+ Identify opportunities to acquire new long-term customers to support route growth and ability to upsell our current products.
Qualifications
+ Must be 21 years of age or older.
