Your Role is Essential

As a Tile Merchandise Coordinator, you will be a crucial player behind the scenes of our Merchandising team. Your responsibilities will include supporting product flow, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring data accuracy, helping to keep our tile department thriving both logistically and financially. This position emphasizes attention to detail, relationship-building, and driving category success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with store teams to resolve issues, gather feedback, and ensure they have the tools they need to sell effectively.
  • Manage product and vendor documentation, ensuring compliance and proper setup across internal systems (SKUs, costs, retail uploads, etc.).
  • Work directly with international and domestic vendors to oversee purchase orders and logistics management.
  • Accurately maintain all purchase orders, vendor data, and product details to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve any invoice discrepancies and address payment issues.
  • Assist in product line reviews and conduct category performance analysis through research and data tracking.

Qualifications for Success

  • 1-4 years of experience in buying, merchandising, supply chain, operations, or a related field; retail or vendor-facing experience is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and the ability to navigate multiple systems with ease.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills; you have a knack for spreadsheets and can identify gaps.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively across teams and follow up diligently.
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining clarity and focus.
  • A customer-first mindset, an interest in design and visual presentation, and a curiosity about product development from concept to the sales floor.

In this role, you will support our Merchants, work with vendors, track inventory, and contribute to the success of our stores while building a solid foundation for your career.

Work Environment

  • Limited travel required, including air and car travel.
  • The work environment is typically quiet.
