In addition to assigning responsibilities to the project team and establishing schedules for individual team members, the Project Manager Advisor oversees various technical aspects of the project. This includes developing the project scope, conducting savings analysis, and ensuring the feasibility of proposed measures. Collaborating closely with the Sales team, they assist in customer presentations and interviews during the project's development phase. They liaise with the Legal department to prepare and negotiate customer agreements and change orders, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. The Project Manager Advisor is also responsible for managing all cost components throughout project implementation, maintaining precise budget records, and promptly notifying supervisors of any necessary adjustments. Additionally, they work alongside the construction manager to establish a comprehensive project schedule with regular progress milestones, ensuring timely completion. Alongside these responsibilities, they actively engage with Accounting to facilitate monthly customer invoicing and address any payment delays or issues proactively. They will ensure compliance with local labor regulations and oversee the timely completion of monitoring set-up packages and final job close-out information.
This position will sit in Oakland, CA and will report to the Director of Project Management.
Responsibilities
What Youll Bring
- A minimum of a four (4) year degree in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience, including training.
- Proficient in financial analysis skills to predict customer project economics and manage project budgets.
- Strong negotiation skills that protect ENGIEs interests on a given project, while building customer and vendor/subcontractor rapport.
- Ability to prepare and write accurate customer reports with attention to customer goals and needs.
- Capability to create and execute project development and delivery schedules.
- Excellent adherence to schedule, and collaborative problem-solving skills to maintain budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
- High standards of accuracy, appearance, and thoroughness of project documentation.
- Ability to review engineering work across all typical energy project scope types.
- Knowledge of contract scopes of work, and alignment with subcontractor scopes of work.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $113,900 $74,570 USD annually

Who You Are
The Head of PMO will lead Sila in all large-scale project efforts including the design and build of new manufacturing facilities, upgrades to existing facilities, and large improvement projects. This individual will be responsible for running and scaling a team that will allow Sila to scale and grow into an industrial leader in manufacturing battery materials. This individual will build effective teams through recruiting, onboarding, coaching, effective prioritization and planning, feedback, and career development. The Head of PMO will implement and manage industry best practices for project development, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, progress reporting and productivity. The position will ensure robust processes are in place for all regulatory requirements during the project lifetime cycle, specifically; environmental, safety and quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop, implement, and constantly shape Sila's project management strategy to support global growth.
- Build, improve, and manage industry leading programs including resource utilization, budget/cost control, schedule, construction, quality, safety, document control and risk management.
- Lead a high-performing projects and construction team, developing personnel that prepare the organization for large scale industrial plant builds.
- Direct and oversee all phases of Sila large capital projects and construction management including contracts, planning, scheduling, budget, execution, reporting, risk mitigation, documentation, and closeout.
- Work cooperatively and proactively with Operations on implementing effective Operational Readiness strategies that address project completion, commissioning, operational permitting, PSM compliance and initial plant startup.
- Manage relationships with principal contractors (EPC/GC) and resolve contractual, budget, and schedule issues.
- Own internal communication across the organization related to project progress, efficiency, and cost/schedule performance.
- Drive project alignment with the engineering design, manufacturing, EH&S, and programs teams. Embed project controls into the organization.
- Hire, coach, and support talent through consistent feedback, navigation of challenges, and celebration of wins.
- Inspire and engage all stakeholders across the organization to help build Sila into an industrial manufacturing leader in the battery materials space.
- Champion "continual improvement" as a cultural normal and expectation of performance in all areas of responsibility of the PMO.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management and leadership roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in a science, engineering, or construction management discipline.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with an affinity for mentoring and developing others.
- Skilled in project planning, risk management, project execution, meeting facilitation, presentation, and communication to all levels of the organization.
- Must have prior experience in planning, contract management, and ground-up/new construction experience
- Strong track record of managing general and subcontractors.
- Willing to travel to build site.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Full project lifecycle experience with PSM covered process preferred.
- Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, hardhat, lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location

The starting base pay for this role is between $207,000 and $262,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila's competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. **About the Role:**
As a CBRE Furniture Management Coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of furniture portfolio for all geographic regions in the US within the account. This includes inventory, maintenance, and coordination of furniture for office moves, renovations and general upkeep.
**What You'll Do:**
· Maintain an accurate inventory of all furniture, including location, condition, and product specifications on the clients preferred digital platform. Conduct regular audits to track furniture assets and identify items needing repair, or replacement.
· Manage the storage of surplus furniture in an organized and accessible manner. Provide reports of furniture inventory as needed.
· Process documentationfor project commitments. Obtain external quotes for processing. Coordinate change orders, change directives and contemplative change notices with consultants and vendors.
· Schedule meetings and communication plans regarding projects amongst teams and clients.

· Respond to employee requests regarding furniture adjustments, replacements, or additions.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with furniture vendors. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms.
· Ensure all furniture installations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. Address any furniture-related safety concerns promptly.
· Develop and update furniture standards and guidelines.
· Attend meetings and provide furniture related input and support.
**What You'll Need:**
· High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
· Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
· Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $68,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $70,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
