You will be a part of the Compliance Operations Quality Assurance team, which is responsible for conducting Quality Assurance audits on transaction monitoring system (TMS) cases, working with production teams from CX and Compliance. In your day-to-day role, you will be responsible for auditing TMS cases to support Coinbase's AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering / Combatting the Financing of Terrorism) program. This role will also identify opportunities to improve procedural updates, create and present metrics, train new analysts, and work on providing insights through established feedback loops.

* Perform QA reviews of TMS cases based on the quality rubric, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

**Job Summary**
Interfaces with internal and external customers in reviewing scope and developing requirements and plans for testing / quality assurance for enterprise projects of considerable complexity. Works with cross functional teams to prepare comprehensive test design specifications for functional, regression, performance and security testing. Performs analysis to identify dependency points and common areas across multiple projects and optimizes the testing effort to reduce duplication. Manages project test resources in the development of large multi-system, multi-platform projects. Responsible for accurate and timely creation of test artifacts, tasks, execution schedule / plan, and manages stakeholder signoff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the consumer goods or chemical manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and quality management systems is essential. Experience with analytical testing methods and instrumentation is a significant advantage. You will be expected to mentor junior QA staff, contribute to the development of quality control procedures, and participate in internal and external audits. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and test protocols.
• Execute validation and verification testing for new and existing cleaning and sanitation products.
• Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Participate in internal and external audits, and support regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior QA personnel and contribute to team development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 9001, or other relevant quality management systems.
• Experience with analytical testing techniques and laboratory equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the cleaning or sanitation industry is a plus.
