Job Description
Supplier Quality Engineer for Aerospace Forgings, Closed Die, Rings, and Metal Powder Manufacturing. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in Forgings processes who can translate that expertise into effective supplier quality improvement strategies. In this position, you will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including implementing quality plans, selecting and qualifying suppliers, owning First Article Inspection results, driving supplier compliance to Source substantiation Plans, and owning supplier results by driving improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. You will own the execution of supplier audits, ensure compliance, and lead corrective plans where needed. A deep understanding of key business drivers is essential; use this understanding to accomplish own work and support cross-functional cross-business collaboration.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Managing supplier development - responsible for supplier processes, from initial qualification, maintenance, and necessary improvements driven by business quality needs. Support suppliers in reaching optimum quality and industry standards of excellence.
+ Position includes regular supplier audits and system assessments for quality preparedness and process controls to remain adherent to GE process specifications and agency regulations.
+ Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Use prior experience and acquiredexpertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
+ Impacts projects, processes, and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. **Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years quality experience) + minimum of 3 years quality experience

The base pay range for this position is 94,400-125,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Education & Experience Requirements
• Technician III: Vocational training and 5+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; OR high school diploma/GED with 7+ years experience in a relevant work environment.
• Technician IV: Vocational training and 8+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; OR high school diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience in a relevant work environment.
• Additional training and or knowledge in the quality auditor field and procedures is desirable
• Computer skills in MS Office and Windows operating system.
• Experience in developing and maintaining records and to follow projects through to conclusion
• Ability to obtain ISO 9001 Auditor Certification
• Ability to review and evaluate specifications, procedures, and processes
• Ability to communicate effectively and cross-functionally in production, support and corporate areas on a regular basis.
• Self-motivated and exhibit the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must understand the Quality Policy and how it relates to this job
• Must understand the relevance and importance of the quality activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
• Capable of frequent standing and walking and lifting up to 60 lbs
• Must have excellent attendance, safety and work record

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our Euclid, Ohio headquarters operation. The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in conducting scheduled Internal Quality Audits to determine if the internal quality system is effective.

What You Will Do
The QA Technician will support various functions and activities to include covering internal ISO audits as well as other external bodies such as NIOSH. In addition, you will:
• Plan and conduct internal ISO9001 Quality Audits according to schedule; work closely with all departments inclusive of ISO9001
• Use audit guidelines, checklists and prior audit results to determine audit paths
• Gather and document objective evidence during audit interview process; determine whether quality activities comply with specifications, procedures, and standards
• Record and document audit results in the company’s online audit system and review the results of the audit with the Department Manager of the area being audited.
• Complete corrective action determinations including associated risk assessments
• Draft corrective actions and action items in a clear and compelling way for use by others
• Conduct verifications of corrective actions and action items including verification using objective evidence

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in identifying quality issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Your Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
We are looking for talented individuals at varying levels:
- Engineer I: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quality Management, or a related field; no experience required, but eagerness to learn.
- Engineer II: Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with proven capabilities in quality control.
- Engineer III: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, demonstrating leadership and autonomy in quality assurance initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of quality management methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and display a proficiency in statistical analysis, problem-solving skills, and effective communication at all organizational levels.
