Summary of Job Description: The CFT Real Estate Investment Analyst supports the executive team in the execution of strategic business plans. Along with maintaining and updating operational and financial reports, the Analyst is responsible for providing detailed analysis of existing and potential investments for a multibillion-dollar portfolio across the country. This position builds, produces, and maintains a suite of investment reports, including internal and external financial reporting and periodic investor reporting. The Analyst analyzes the data in those reports and communicates the results of the analysis to the Asset Management teams. Additionally, this position is responsible for building investment projection models for various investment funds and acquisition and disposition opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Produces and maintains portfolio management, asset management, and financial reports for senior management and third parties.Tracks key performance indicators, variance reporting, cash forecasting, capital management, and customized reports. Monitors performance metrics and all elements of financial performance (i.e., leasing and income generation, management of operating expenses, and capital projects); analyzes financial statements and makes necessary operating adjustments for successful business plan execution. Supports the annual budget/business planning process, and updates property cash flows, valuation models, and portfolio rollups. Supports the analysis, underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee process for new acquisitions and investments. Supports the transaction process and onboarding of new assets by preparing transition reports and coordinating with internal and external parties. Stays abreast of macro-economic conditions and assists with analysis of property sectors, and real estate and economic trends. Develops positive working relationships, both internally and externally. Maintains internal tools and completes special projects as assigned. Major Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two - f ive years of experience in a commercial (not just multifamily) real estate mortgage loan production office or equivalent
Bachelors degree in Real Estate or Finance , or equivalent education and related training
An advanced degree is a plus.
Strong analytical skills as well as ability to think outside the box and provide solutions and optionality
In-depth knowledge of the income producing real estate including knowledge of local/regional/national real estate markets, real estate construction, and all forms of debt and equity and their common structures
Ability to evolve with the changing environment and capital markets
Excellent organizational skills and drive to succeed

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Given where our clients and senior team leaders are based, we have a strong preference for candidates based in Los Angeles who can attend in-person meetings and presentations. There may be some in person work at the office for training purposes but down the line after onboarding is complete there will be flexibility around using the office. We will consider exceptional remote candidates as well, though this particular role would be supporting west coast business hours. Compensation In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $60,000 -$75,000.
