We deliver both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Scope of Work
As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will leverage your nursing expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. Using the ANA scope of practice, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and assist in the discharge processes while prioritizing patient-family-centered care principles. Your partnership with patients and their families will be pivotal in shaping care plans and devising effective educational strategies. You will document all patient interactions and educational sessions in the health record.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must possess at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role, alongside a successful NCLEX licensure examination completion.
- Current MI Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year

- Administration of injections

- Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Assess vital signs and the reason for each patient visit
