**The Role at a Glance**
As the Internal Controls Consultant, you will provide subject matter expertise on design and effectiveness of financial and operational controls for various vendor services. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders and auditors to ensure the control environment aligns with the service vendor audit program. You will develop and execute on more complex audit testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and controls, reliability of SOC-1 reporting, and compliance with applicable law. You will also provide control expertise, risk assessment analysis, and implement risk mitigation recommendations for complex projects, processes, and major financial and operational control initiatives. **What you'll be doing**
+ You will partner with senior management to strengthen the control environment by establishing complex action plans to address financial & operational control deficiencies. You will track and monitor progress against these action plans to ensure timely risk mitigation resolution.
+ You will act as the business unit SOC-1 program owner ensuring accurate control inventories and control owners are documented and lead/manage interactions between external auditors and internal control owners / subject matter experts.
+ You will manage report development, review, and issuance; manage report validation and distribution process; and maintain all business records.
+ You will act as the Internal Audit liaison for the business units by ensuring business engagement, responsiveness to audit requests, issue management, communication management, and management action plan execution.
+ You will act as the Privacy Office Liaison - Group Protection business unit Privacy Officer coordinator.
+ You will serve as subject matter expert for Group Protection business areas to anticipate and address operational risks.
+ You will provide subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments and projects. You will provide direction to build and enhance the capabilities within the business.

+ 3-5+ years of experience with SOX and/or financial/operation controls or other control environment experience within a compliance or audit team that directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this position.

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $24,600 with **anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range** and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. **The Role at a Glance**
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Risk Management to join the Market Risk oversight team, which is a part of the broader Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function in the Office of the CRO. This team is focused on setting the parameters of risk management as they relate to the hedging of capital market risks. This is a relatively new team at Lincoln, and we're growing! + Develop and streamline risk management procedures by working closely within the QRA team and across various business departments to oversee and cultivate robust risk management framework.
+ Develop, and/or enhances, and maintains department standard operating procedures in order to ensure regulatory compliance, align to industry standards, streamline processes, and implement risk management processes.
+ Oversee, trains and mentors the contract laboratory, contract repackaging, and internal investigations teams. Reviews investigations for adequacy to drive identification of root causes, systemic corrections and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ As part of investigation outcome or identified continuous improvement initiatives, implements and/or collaborates with colleagues to drive CAPA implementation in order to enhance process improvements.
+ Performs root cause analysis, develops and provides input on specific and systemic corrections to drive continuous improvement.
+ Monitors for industry trends, regulatory guidances and regulatory expectations to identify compliance gaps and/or continuous improvement initiatives.
