ALL ABOUT ASSETS PROTECTION
Assets Protection (AP) teams function to keep our guests, team and brand secure and lead through crisis events. They protect profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks, preventing theft and fraud to ensure product is available for our guest. They also build relationships inside and outside of Target, including store leaders and public safety officials, inclusive of law enforcement.
At Target, we believe in our team members having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The role of an Assets Protection Specialist can provide you with the:
- Skills using surveillance and intelligence-led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure while aiding in the reduction of shortage
- Ability to use Target's video surveillance system to monitor guests and identify potential theft risks
- Ability to implement Target's Assets Protection practices and routines to reduce and prevent shortage
- Ability to properly and effectively document cases
- Experience identifying strategic resolutions of external theft and fraud, and apprehension
As an Assets Protection Specialist, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
- Support total store sales, guest service and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and available to our guests by preventing and resolving theft.
- Resolve theft by using good judgement and conducting apprehensions in shortage focus areas while strictly adhering to AP policies and procedures.
- Identify theft trends by leveraging technology, reporting and surveillance tactics.
- Prevent theft by gathering intelligence and communicating important issues.
- Understand and appropriately use video systems to monitor theft activity.
- Respond to security incidents and submit appropriate documentation for all incidents following AP policy and procedures.
- Promote a physical security and safety culture for our team members and guests by creating awareness and training safe and secure standards throughout the building.
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences
- Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
- Maintain positive work relationships with public safety officials and law enforcement.
- Participate in legal proceedings as necessary to represent Target's interests.
- All other duties based on business needs

**Shift:** Casual Part-Time, Varied
**Job Summary:**
Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer provides security to patients, visitors, staff, physicians, students and volunteers and will promote and provide a safe and secure environment and will safeguard Mercy Medical Center and its associated facilities.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Works independently with little or no supervision.
+ Greets, directs and communicates with patients and visitors as they enter Mercy Medical Center for services.
+ Interacts with all Mercy departments to assist patients/customers.
+ Provides information to staff, visitors, and patients, giving directions to specific locations within the hospital or Mercy campus, and by giving general information regarding rules, regulations, etc.
+ Responds to emergency situations related to combative or violent people that are endangering themselves or others.
+ Evaluates situations and uses de-escalation skills to resolve situations.
+ Patrols Mercy Medical Center and associated buildings and grounds, both internally and externally to promote a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, physicians, students and volunteers.
+ Secures and unsecures buildings with use of keyed and computer controlled access systems.
+ Patrols parking areas for compliance with parking policies and procedures.
+ Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances.
**Qualifications**
**License/Certifications:**
+ Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's License at hire. Driving record is clear of any chargeable accidents involving negligence within the previous 36 months, more than 2 moving violations in the previous 12 months, more than 4 moving violations in the previous 36 months, or any felony conviction related to the operation of a motor vehicle, D.W.I./D.U.I. conviction.
+ State of Oregon DPSST Private Security Certification as an Unarmed Security Officer required within 30 Days of hire date.
+ American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire.
**Experience:**
+ Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ One year of experience in law enforcement or as a security officer desired.
+ Healthcare security experience desirable.
**Education:**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ College level course work in professionally related fields desirable.

The GITS team is part of Intel's Information Security organization and supports the unique IT Information Security and Compliance requirements for Intel Federal LLC, a subsidiary of Intel that delivers products and/or services to the U.S. Government (USG). As part of the GITS team, you will help us grow our secure solution suite to meet U.S. Government requirements for data safeguarding.
The Government Information Technology and Security Team (GITS) is composed of highly experienced security professionals with expertise in Enterprise Security Architecture, System Engineering, Information Security, and service/product operations that fulfill and meet regulatory compliance oversight. Within the GITS Team, each member brings diverse expertise and wears multiple hats. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with strong analytical, communication, and security risk management skills, along with a passion for rapidly learning new technologies.
In this role, you will be part of an Agile team, tasked with supporting, improving, and expanding our secure solutions to enhance Intel Government Technology capabilities, with a continuous focus on regulatory compliance for U.S. Government contracts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the security posture of information systems and develop/revise necessary Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation to support system authorization.
- Create and update standard RMF artifacts, including the System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), hardware and software inventories, and network topology diagrams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures required by assessment and authorization activities, in accordance with directives such as ICD-503, DAAPM, NISPOM, JSIG, and NIST 800-53.
- Provide guidance and direction to program personnel, ensuring effective communication within the role.
- Collaborate with system administrators and network engineers to ensure timely application of security patches and secure configurations in line with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Minimal travel required.
Core Functions:
- Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (CA) package documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM), Risk Assessment Reports, and System Requirements.
- Validate security policies and procedures outlined in the System Security Plan (SSP), customer policies, and regulations, ensuring adherence to local policies.
- Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.
- Serve as a member of the Change Control Board (CCB) to ensure configuration management for cybersecurity-relevant software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
- Ensure all personnel receive the necessary technical and security training to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct security reviews of proposed changes or additions to the information system (including hardware or software) and advise the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) on security relevance.
- Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support continuous monitoring and the certification and accreditation process.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity requirements to join our dynamic team.
Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

- Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the Government Information Technology (IT) and Information Security Industry, or a High School Diploma with at least 8+ years of relevant experience in the Government Information Technology (IT) and Information Security Industry.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: Security+ CE, CASP+(SecurityX), CISSP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
- 2+ years' experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, NIST 800-53, and ICD-503.
- 2+ years' experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
- 2+ years' experience in maintaining Information System package documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs), Risk Assessment Reports (RAR), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), Security Requirements Traceability Matrix (SRTM), and hardware and software inventories.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for audit reduction, vulnerability scanning, and malware detection, such as Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Checker, and STIG viewer.
- Experience in administering and operating IT technologies, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, networks, firewalls, and virtual cloud environments.
- Experience with multiple encryption methodologies for data in transport and at rest.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $123,130.00-$173,830.00 Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
