Georgia-Pacific is seeking Material Handlers at our Rincon, GA facility to work in a high energy and dynamic organization. Material Handlers will learn and apply the equipment theory of operation and the operational processes. The pay for this position starts at $19.00 per hour. This position offers opportunities for development within the role and growth with the company.
Our mill operates 24/7 and 365 days per year. Material Handlers work a 12-hour rotating schedule that includes holidays, weekends, and overtime. Our rotating schedule allows for a regular 14 days off every 4-week period. The work is performed in an environment that is sometimes hot, cold, dusty, and noisy. And requires individuals to work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.
Our Team
Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. What You Will Do
- Maintain high standards for quality and product safety in accordance with safety rules and regulations
- Ensure that equipment stays in a competitive state through troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
- Effectively communicate information to the team effectively through a variety of means; verbal, written, electronic, etc.
- Work in an industrial environment with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, dirt, chemicals, and loud noise
- Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks throughout the 12-hr shift
- Operate mobile equipment at heights and/or working at heights
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High school diploma
- Experience working with others or as part of a team
What Will Put You Ahead
- At least two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- At least one (1) years of experience operating machinery in a warehouse environment
- Experience with forklifts
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management system

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped
+ Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse
+ Change over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flaws
+ Document and report damages to supervisors or leads
+ Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items
+ Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem
+ Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift
**ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

The DC Asset Protection Manger leads a team of up to 100 associates, including multiple exempt DCAP Supervisors to ensure that both our team members and properties are safe and secure. Additionally the role oversees asset protection functions of multiple distribution facilities and/or off-site trailer holding yards. This role is integral in maintaining operational integrity by managing truck gate and truck yard accuracy. The manager leverages data to identify root causes of supply chain shortage, initiatives investigations and implements actions to mitigate theft and fraud.
Responsibilities include:
+ Develop and enforce safe and secure initiatives to safeguard company assets, including inventory, property, and personnel.
+ Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
+ Oversee the accurate documentation, tracking, and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments at truck gates as well as perform validations of trailer yard audits
+ Monitors, reviews, and enforces safety, health, and environmental regulations. Ensures distribution center associates adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and notifies appropriate personnel on compliance issues.
+ Conducts and follows up on accident investigations and reporting; develops proactive methods for accident prevention; completes safety inspections and executes coordinated Safety Awareness programs
+ Supervises trains and reviews performance of Loss Prevention Supervisors and Contract Uniformed Guards.
+ Assist DC management and finance in accurate execution of Annual Inventory and periodic Cycle Counts.
+ Lead, coach, and motivate the DCAP team consisting of up to 100 associates, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
+ Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
+ Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance team capabilities.

Job Description
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership & Transformation:
- Design and lead an integrated supply chain strategy that supports MUSC's clinical, operational, and financial goals.
- Conduct operational assessments and lead transformation efforts including service line integration, standardization, and scalability.
- Oversee implementation of system-wide initiatives for cost reduction, value creation, and quality enhancement.
- Direct cross-entity coordination during M&A activities, ensuring seamless supply chain integration and continuity.
Technology Enablement & Process Automation:
- Oversee ERP (Workday), WMS, POU technology, and AP automation to streamline operations and improve visibility.
- Develop and manage supply chain dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support executive-level decision-making.
- Drive the digitization of manual workflows across procurement, invoice reconciliation, distribution, and courier management.
Operational Oversight & Resiliency:
- Manage internal distribution systems, consolidated service center operations, and courier networks across MUSC sites.
- Develop SLAs, SOPs, and escalation protocols for internal customer service, fulfillment accuracy, and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure continuity of operations during system disruptions, supply chain delays, and national shortages through advanced resiliency planning.
Financial Stewardship & Accounts Payable Leadership:
- Provide oversight of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functions including purchasing, invoice processing, AP reconciliation, and supplier payment strategies.
- Drive automation within AP functions to reduce manual processing and enhance payment controls.
- Optimize working capital by improving cycle times, early pay discounts, and secure payment modalities (e.g., card-based programs).
Additional Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience in a large, complex Integrated Delivery Network (IDN).
- Direct experience overseeing $1B+ in annual supply chain expense, with measurable impact on cost containment, sourcing, standardization, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in ERP (Workday), WMS, POU, AP automation, and supply chain analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership in integrating systems post-M&A, building consolidated service centers, and aligning supply chain operations with organizational growth.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare supply contracting, vendor negotiations, GPO management, and compliance with federal and state purchasing regulations.
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to Boards and C-suite stakeholders, and the ability to influence enterprise-level strategic decisions.
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred
