Job Summary:
Employees who manage the Shipping of merchandise are responsible for the final product review before those materials are sent out to the client and out of Super Color's possession. Creating safety and security for shipped materials ensure client satisfaction. Efficiency and speed get packages to the client before the end of the scheduled arrival time. Keeping employees on task and assuring the enforcement of the best practices are the Lead's most important goals, not helping to ship packages. Communication with all the departments helps provide all employees with the best opportunity to succeed. A Shipping Lead must make sure that the safety, conduct and appearance of employees and work stations is in superb condition.
Job Duties:
•Schedule Driver Boards for pick-ups and deliveries
•Verify that Shipping is consistent with instructions on Work Order
•Prepare for all FedEx, UPS and other courier service pick-ups/deliveries
•Assist Packaging employees in best option to prepare merchandise for Shipping
•Maintain protocols for secured shipping environments
•Communicate frequently with Production Managers and department leads regarding current Work Orders
•Maintain organized and clean working environment
•Train personnel on Shipping-related data entry
•Ensure that Shipping employees are checking that merchandise is packaged in secure and proper manner
•Maintain and update standard operating procedure for Shipping, Receiving and Packaging departments
•Manage the Packaging department procedures and overall efficiency
•Check that all information regarding Work Order/packaging is correct before accepting job, make sure that employees perform duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/labeling before giving the job to the courier service

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Global Operations Team at Esri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations in production, planning, distribution, fulfillment, inventory, and warehousing. This position will report to the Director of Global Operations and will have several direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that meet corporate objectives
- Oversee logistics operations, including domestic and international shipping
- Maintain compliance with all US and foreign trade regulations
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments within Esri to ensure business continuity
- Collaborate with the Esri SAP support team for system testing and enhancements
- Lead all efforts in material and part number configurations within SAP
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess
- Collaborate with suppliers and other Esri departments to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvements
- Ensure compliance with hazardous waste and safety requirements
- Provide return on investment (ROI) analysis for department equipment
- Train department on safety requirements and properly document all completed training
- Manage the production operations for USB software duplication, marketing and events signage, and outsourcing Esri press books
- Facilitate MRO for department equipment
- Provide documented mid-year and annual review feedback with your direct reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience managing an operation with direct reports
- Proven experience in a supply chain management role, with a track record of success
- 5+ years of experience with SAP, an enterprise resource planning system, or comparable data management systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Experience with using the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; excellent Microsoft Excel skills essential; Visio or Lucidchart experience
Recommended Qualifications
- Certification in supply chain management (such as APICS) is a plus

**Job Summary**
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for working with Corporate/Plant Logistics & Transportation, Purchasing, Sales, Accounting, Customer Care, and Plant/Site Management to develop and execute the Purchasing and Distribution strategy for the Plant/Site operation. This includes management responsibilities for all Supply Chain operations in the plant/site; Warehouse and Shipping (including associated offsite Warehouses), Inventory Control, Purchasing, Production Planning, Raw Material Planning and Receiving, and Transportation Management (inbound/ outbound, including optimizing the local use of GAF rail and truck fleet equipment). This position will ensure that proper business and safety processes are being followed in these areas.
The individual will be responsible for the staffing and development of new and existing Supply Chain employees (as related to their primary job function) to ensure facility and department goals are aligned. Also, this individual will be accountable for the site(s) achieving distribution cost goals, inbound freight metrics, service reliability metrics, purchasing, and volume goals. The position will evaluate and drive improvements in overall safety, along with operational cost-effectiveness and efficiency within the Supply Chain function.
A high level of importance is placed on fostering relationships with key partners; both suppliers and customers, negotiating cost and service for purchasing and transportation services, leases, and agreements to include fleet and lift truck equipment.
This position reports to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Sr. Regional Distribution Manager.
**Essential Duties**
+ Lead team in meeting or exceeding site safety goals, by providing a safe work environment, training, and materials as needed, and instilling a culture of safety in Shipping/Warehousing and Private Fleet operations.
+ Drive down Supply Chain related costs through effective leadership and management of the Plant's Supply Chain resources. Manage costs to budgetary goals in the areas of Purchasing, Inbound and Outbound Transportation, Truck and Rail Fleet, and Warehouse Operations. Identify, champion, and capture cost savings opportunities through Supply Chain related projects, including collaboration with Corporate Purchasing, Logistics and Transportation, Sales, Accounting, Customer Care, and the Plant team on the development of a distribution strategy for 1) products shipped from his/her location, and 2) for products manufactured by his/her Plant(s) in both normal and high-volume periods.
+ Effectively manage Supply Chain resources to ensure Service and Volume goals are met. This includes effective Production Scheduling, Raw Material ordering, and Supply Chain execution. An effective inbound and outbound carrier base must be maintained to meet this objective. Actively lead efforts to become a Shipper of Choice and expand the carrier base to meet demand spikes caused by sales promotions, seasonal buys, weather-related business spikes, etc. Working with the Corporate Distribution Group, understand and take advantage of private fleets, and carrier synergies within the GAF distribution network.
+ Ensure quality standards are met on inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods, as well as in the execution of key Supply Chain processes managed at the Plant. Ensure contractual commitments and supplier assessments, ensuring all purchases are consistent with quality and delivery requirements. Champion the Warehouse Improvement Process (WIP), ensuring that logistics staff follows the process, minimizing labor cost, reporting weekly metrics, conducting self-audits, and meeting WIP goals (pallets handled/hour, labor cost per pallet handled, cycle counting adherence, etc.). Identify process failures that led to missed goals and develop and communicate continuous improvement plans to achieve WIP goals.
+ Provide training and development plans, including coaching, training, and staffing for new and existing Logistics employees (as related to their primary job function) to ensure facility and department goals are aligned.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
