**POSITION SUMMARY**
Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures. Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved. Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees. Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances. Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Part of the U.S. Online Accountant Marketing Team is seeking a highly motivated product & sales marketing leader who is excited to make an impact through one of Intuit's 5 Big Bets: Disrupt the Small Business Mid-Market. The ideal candidate is a self-starting strategic thinker with experience translating market, product and customer insights into strong marketing plans while influencing and partnering cross-functionally to bring their bold visions to life. You'll be challenged to move fast, navigate ambiguity and have a big impact on our accountant firms who serve mid-market customers, their livelihoods and the QuickBooks brand trajectory with this customer.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage both inbound and outbound product marketing programs, with the ability to use storytelling, customer insights, data and business acumen to lead initiatives at any phase of the product life cycle (from idea to maturity) and drive a GTM vision that can drive impact and influence.
+ Deep partnership with sales and sales enablement teams, prioritizing product solutions, audience segments and initiatives.
+ Embed with the Accountant sales & Mid Market sales teams to develop and lead a rapid-cycle learning agenda to build empathy with and the understanding of the attitudes, needs and pain points of our highest value customers who may be experiencing growing pains with QuickBooks.
+ Design and manage processes for gathering and synthesizing customer insights for sales teams and partnering with PM to influence product priorities.
+ Leverage consumer (qual and quant), competitive, and industry insights plus new technological capabilities to uncover opportunities that can help further differentiate our suite of product offerings.
+ Collaborate with Finance and other Marketers to build a 1-yr revenue forecast and the corresponding marketing plan to help deliver the aligned results.
+ Strong creative skillset with an ability to turn deep customer insights into winning positioning, value proposition and messaging that will resonate with the target customer.
+ Analytically-minded, with the ability to develop clear hypotheses and collaborate cross-functionally with other product marketing teams, channel marketing, sales, finance, analytics, and product to test and iterate our way into how we solution-sell our platform particularly through sales channels, providing the customer insights, positioning, and content to drive demand.
+ Co-own revenue targets together with our Accountant sales partners to develop the customer targeting and omni-channel demand strategy that feeds into sales.
+ Make go-forward recommendations and present and share learning and recommendations across the organization.
+ Manage a small team of marketers, by leading with a clear vision, building a high performance culture and driving winning results.
**Qualifications**
+ BA/BS required, or equivalent work experience. Experience in SaaS companies, B2B marketing and/or MBA a plus
+ 10+ years professional experience in marketing driving go-to-market strategies, in particular supporting sales organizations
+ Ability to translate consumer insight and business strategies into great execution
+ Proven experience leading a team and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
+ Deep curiosity about what makes our customer tick
+ Exceptional verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as an effective communicator at all levels
+ Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
+ Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with experienced judgment
+ Strong project management skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Strong organization navigational skills, including ability to lead and influence without direct authority

Role overview: Accountants are responsible for delivering value and accounting services to clients from Propeller's portfolio of fast-growing consumer brand, technology and food & beverage companies. The role offers growth and exposure across several industries. Accountants collaborate and are supported by our Accounting and Finance Directors, as well as others at Propeller, to manage client relationships, oversee the preparation of monthly financial reporting, and develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and controls for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting
- Lead month-end close process for a portfolio of clients, working with a team of international accountants to complete reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules as needed
- Prepare monthly financial statements including trend and variance analysis
- Own general accounting processes, including streamlining workflow and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Increase efficiency and document complex accounting processes with clients, including internal processes and controls
- Prepare federal, state and local tax and compliance filings such as: 1099s, Delaware Franchise, 3921s, etc.
- Support clients through audits and due diligence as needed
Client Services
- Actively engage with clients to deliver high quality service to a portfolio of clients in multiple industries
- Partner with Propeller Directors/CFOs to manage client relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients' accounting questions and needs
Qualifications:
- Operational accounting experience; multi-client experience required
- Proactive communicator with problem solving and organizational skills
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- A passion for supporting start-up companies, learning and driving process improvements
- Experience with full close-cycle accounting
- Experienced in QBO or Netsuite
- Working knowledge of inventory management and/or revenue recognition
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Expertise working in e-commerce, consumer packaged goods, crypto or SaaS a plus
