Must maintain a heightened security awareness when working with non-citizens, and never allowing them to handle chemicals, class A or class B tools or institutional keys.

Ensure that staff and non-citizen volunteer workers wear the appropriate PPE for the task assigned to include, clothing, reflective gear, gloves, aprons, safety shoes or boots.

Ensure staff and non-citizen volunteer workers use the appropriate equipment or devices for the specific task assigned such as, dolly's, brooms, mops, rolling carts, flatbed carts, step ladders etc.

Monitor the baking, roasting, broiling, frying, and steaming of foods according to Monitor the carving and dividing of portions into individual servings.

Ensure adequate staffing is maintained on each shift to sustain an ongoing food service operation.

Ensure staff and non-citizen volunteer workers are working in a safe environment by adhering with OSHA, PIDC, and AIP safety regulations. Actively promote a robust safety culture amongst staff and non-citizen volunteer workers.

Immediately report and document all significant accident/injury incidents to the AFSM or FSA.

Report all damaged or unserviceable equipment to the AFSM. Submit maintenance work orders on equipment and coordinate repairs or replacement of AIP or ICE owned equipment.

# Project Overview:
Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. + Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility.
+ Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.
**Planning**
+ Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
+ Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
+ Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
**Safety / Quality**
+ Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
+ Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
**Technical**
+ Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
+ Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
+ Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation.
+ Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.
+ Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan and the Bechtel Core Processes.
+ Knowledge of the Six Sigma program tools and methodologies.
+ Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.
+ Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs).
+ Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications in accordance with current Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards.
+ Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
+ Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.

# Additional Information:
Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).

**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee Cook I, and Food Service Workers and non-citizen volunteer workers ensuring daily meals are produced.
+ Conducts food service department inspections in accordance with establish inspection procedures and worksheets.
+ Maintain daily food service production and sanitation sheets, including tray counts, temperature logs and other related reports. Must ensure that food service reports are submitted accurately and by end of shift.
+ Must maintain a heightened security awareness when working with non-citizens, and never allowing them to handle chemicals, class A or class B tools or institutional keys.
+ Ensure that staff and non-citizen volunteer workers wear the appropriate PPE for the task assigned to include, clothing, reflective gear, gloves, aprons, safety shoes or boots.
+ Ensure staff and non-citizen volunteer workers use the appropriate equipment or devices for the specific task assigned such as, dolly's, brooms, mops, rolling carts, flatbed carts, step ladders etc.
+ Ensure that ICE approved regular menus and special diets are adhered to in accordance with ACA and PBNDS standards. Review menus to determine type and quantity of food to be prepared based on population needs.
+ Operate the tool control room and issue cooking utensils and maintain control of the knife cabinet.
+ Ensure accurate accountability of Class A and Class B tools. Ensure staff adhere to key, chemical and tool control procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
+ Oversee the food production ensuring food is cooked according to established recipes and/or preparation instructions. Ensure food production is completed in a timely manner.
+ Monitor the baking, roasting, broiling, frying, and steaming of foods according to Monitor the carving and dividing of portions into individual servings.
+ May modify the menu and submit the meal substitution request to the AFSM / FSA for final approval.
+ Ensure food temperatures are taken and recorded in accordance with the ACA and PBNDS standards.

+ Ensure the sanitation of the exterior and interior of the food service department is always maintained by following the established cleaning schedule.
+ Administer food service training and professional development for staff and sanitation training for non-citizen volunteer workers. Ensure all training is documented and filed for quality assurance.
+ Ensure adequate staffing is maintained on each shift to sustain an ongoing food service operation.
+ Ensure staff and non-citizen volunteer workers are working in a safe environment by adhering with OSHA, PIDC, and AIP safety regulations. Actively promote a robust safety culture amongst staff and non-citizen volunteer workers.
+ Immediately report and document all significant accident/injury incidents to the AFSM or FSA.
+ Report all damaged or unserviceable equipment to the AFSM. Submit maintenance work orders on equipment and coordinate repairs or replacement of AIP or ICE owned equipment.
+ Address and document staff concerning safety awareness, hazard abatement and performance issues.
+ Make post assignments for the following day, and ensure personnel are rotated.
+ May be designated as the acting AFSM during their absence.
+ Assist food service staff during peak food production, or when short of staff.
+ Perform other duties as directed by AIP management.
**Qualifications**
+ US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for at least the last five years.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
+ Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
+ Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
+ Pass a medical examination and meet health requirements.
+ At least 18 years of age.
