Our Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.
You will be responsible for installing both hardware and software for automated medication dispensing devices and then delivering education to the healthcare professionals within healthcare systems throughout the United States. This is a 100% per diem position. Regional, National and local Travel required. Due to the travel, the role requires open availability Monday through Friday. The position would involve working 28-32 hours per week as needed at each site location, plus travel time. Travel is during the business week and would see you home for the weekends.
**?Responsibilities:?**
+ Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices; installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
+ Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
+ Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration?
+ Troubleshooting networking or device issues as they arise during installations
+ Educate healthcare staff on utilization of the device and software solution
+ Occasional assignments for upgrades, preventative maintenance or Windows 7 to 10 migrations
+ Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.

**Experience Requirements and Preferences:?**
+ 3+ years' experience in field technician role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred
+ Minimum 1 year related technical experience required
+ Experience in the IT field, IT Help desk, biomedical, electronics field service, engineering, or pharmacy technician roles preferred
+ Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems
+ Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices?required
+ Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
+ Prior military veterans with experience in an electronics, pharmacy or IT related MOS encouraged to apply!

As a Field Service Representative, a typical day for you might include:
- Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment
- Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams

- Working with your Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues

- 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.

**Job Description**
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) services and maintains all product lines for Olympus America medical products. Under supervision of Manager and Senior FSE Trainer, the FSE will service and provide expert level technical support to assigned equipment.
**Job Duties**
+ Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with assigned products, support and service.
+ Respond to customer inquiries, maintain a good customer service reputation by complying with all regulatory requirements and all aspects of company quality systems.
+ Train customers on the basic operation and use of assigned products.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

+ Perform on-site installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and qualification of **IOMS ( Spectroscopy instrumentation
+ Must be client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
+ Must be proficient with the use of customer management software to track service calls, manage parts inventories, and complete job tasks.
+ Reviews reports and documentation from customers, and inspects malfunctioning product to determine nature and scope of problem.
