ABOUT THE POSITION
Plaskolite is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to support our Lancaster, PA manufacturing facility. This role not only supports the site business unit, but also corporate IT functions in Columbus, Ohio, with responsibility for the IT Service management functions, manufacturing shop floor IT systems and processes in Lancaster, such as Service desk, Network, Server, Endpoint management, Security, and other corporate administrator functions as assigned. Under the direction of corporate IT, the system Administrator will ensure that our IT systems are secure and operate effectively to support the business needs.
JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE:
- Support users in person, or via Service Desk, telephone calls, messaging/email
- First line of support for endpoint devices, servers, printers, and network issues.
- Support and administer needed servers (including M365), applications and database systems
- Address Service Desk technical issues such as hardware failures, password, and connectivity issues
- Escalate/Reassign requests to needed support teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of asset inventory, configurations, and training documents
- Responsible for new user onboarding, including physical placement of equipment and device lifecycle management.
- Monitor and manage needed applications, databases, and security roles
- Monitor, support, and patch needed servers and applications
- Assist in backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree or equivalent technical training/certification with 3+ years of industry related experience
- Windows/Linux operating system familiarity & strong MS Office Suite experience
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and M365 Administration
- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server database platforms and ERP/MES application systems; JD Edwards experience a plus
- Prior Experience in a technical support or help desk role requiring client/vendor support in both remote and in-person settings
- Basic understanding of computer networking, cables, and security

Purpose and Objective:

Expectations and Tasks:
Explain complex technical aspects to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. Support coordination of delivery activities with technology partners. Plan and execute solution deployments. Leverage the capabilities of the SAP's latest technology platform(s) and reinforce their benefits. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Implement and support the operation of technical system landscapes. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) by applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Deliver technology components-specific expert consulting. Deliver system optimization services. Support solution proposals and bid management. Support escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or support updates to the portfolio. Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four years in the following:
+ SAP Basis integration and Platform administration, including SAP ECC, BW, GRC, Solution Manager, and PI/PO;
+ SAP System installation, upgrade, and OS/DB migration of SAP ECC, BW, GRC, PI/PO, and Solution Manager;
+ Troubleshoot and Root Cause Analysis of SAP ECC and S/4HANA;
+ SAP Solution Manager, Cloud Connector, and Web Dispatcher configuration;
+ Cloud Migration: SAP on GCP, SAP on Azure, SAP on AWS;
+ S/4HANA, BW/HANA, BW on HANA upgrade and migration; and
+ Configure and integrate SAP Fiori on S/4HANA.

(INDIRECT) CATEGORY MANAGER - IT
We have a current opportunity for an experienced Category Manager - IT Technology to join our client, a major oil and gas producer in the United States, demonstrates its expertise in unconventional gas, including shale, to deliver hydrocarbon production and technical knowledge worldwide.
This is a long term contract assignment based in Houston TX or Denver CO.
This role reports to the Lead Category Manager for Indirect and will support Technology Category Management.
Specific categories supporting may include software, hardware, services (onshore, nearshore and offshore), networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), data science, internet of things (IoT), IT governance, telecommunications, databases and data warehouses, etc.
Provide analytical and tactical support to the Indirect Technology Category Team to support the execution of category strategies.
Responsible for supporting the category management team and execution of strategies for assigned categories.
Ensures deployment and execution of common systems and processes for supply chain activities in designated categories in operations. Establishes and manages local supplier relationships and contract compliance.
This role is responsible for supporting the relationship with the Business Unit Operations stakeholders and their Leadership in the region and delivers value through exhibiting company values and establishing effective interfaces with customers, the Head of Procurement, pscm Category, Technology teams and Business Units.
•As a member of the pscm team, the category manger will be responsible for managing the Technology Category in delivering pscm services and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at times including partners and government bodies.
•Ensure that bpx and pscm standards, processes and operating systems, and any additional local requirements, are implemented in all pscm activities.
•Understanding of basic category management strategies, supplier management plans, including contract
•Foundational understanding and experience of executing category management plans, including contracting and the implementation of short and long-term agreements, and managing pscm activities in a safe and effective manner.
•Able to understand and execute category management and contracting plans. Support strategic sourcing of delegated categories.
•Identifies pscm risks and ensures mitigation strategies and plans are developed and implemented.
•Undertakes due diligence in mitigating all external supply risk in contract execution. Understands and executes robust cost management and rigorous contract management controls.
•Leads communication related to pscm with the key stakeholders, including CIO, Business Unit functional VPs.
•Build and manage relationships with local suppliers, driving continuous improvement, improving safety performance and reducing operational risk.
•Supports regular performance reviews with stakeholders and suppliers to measure supplier performance, and develop plans to address performance issues. Identifies and escalates disputes between stakeholders and suppliers relating to service delivery.
•Executes pscm common processes, drives efficiency, continuous improvement and compliant procurement transactions across the value chain.
•Organizes/supports regional supplier and contract management activities, e.g. Performance reviews, contracts on-boarding sessions, contract oversights audits, etc.
•Coordinates regional pscm representation in supplier investigations. Ensures effective follow-up on audit findings to ensure timely closure.
•Works closely with pscm Category, Technology and Operations Teams to ensure there are no issues with business continuity.
•Accountable for working with the Business Units and suppliers to deliver value contributions that have direct impact on lease operating expenses.
Essential Education
•University degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Business, Engineering/technical discipline or equivalent.
•High school diploma with 8 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Essential experience and job requirements
•Three to five years of relevant pscm experience managing Technology is preferred.
•Strong analytical and oral/written communication skills, in particular the ability to be influential and drive the pscm agenda with internal stakeholders, and to negotiate with suppliers at Account Representative/Manager level.
•Strong project management skills.
•Working knowledge of systems such as Open Invoice, Ariba and SAP and software tools such as Excel, Access, etc.
•Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies, across organizational boundaries and levels within bpx and with suppliers.
•Experience in programming and understanding micro and macro economics impact on oil field categories is preferred.
