About the Role

We're looking for a Linux-proficient Systems Administrator to join our Production Operations team. In this role, you'll support Sony's infrastructure-as-a-service platform and manage its large-scale Linux-based hardware fleet. The ideal candidate is proficient in Linux CLI troubleshooting, understands cloud technologies, and can deliver effective, user-friendly support to internal teams across varying technical levels.

What you'll be doing
  • Respond to support tickets and inquiries in a 24/5 environment, adhering to SLAs and prioritizing requests from internal customers and cross functional groups.
  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based hardware systems, proactively identifying recurring issues and collaborating with Service Reliability Engineers to deploy fixes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases to improve operational efficiency and reduce resolution time.
Core Knowledge - Candidates must demonstrate at-least 2 of the following (Practical Linux Experience Required):
  • Linux CLI troubleshooting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide network engineering and systems administration support to the Battle Simulation Centers (BSC) and Combined Arms Staff Trainers (CAST) with tasks such as: planning, installation, operation, and maintenance to support day-to-day operations and training events and exercises.
  • Maintains military modeling & simulation systems and associated workstations by configuring and troubleshooting each system and respective workstation per supporting technical documentation in a classroom training and Combat Operations Center collective staff training environment.
  • Conduct on-site instruction and technical assistance as required to include field training environments and will, on occasion, participate as a member of a mobile training team.
  • Provide planning, engineering, installation, operation, maintenance, database development, system administration and instructional expertise to support CIS training, systems integration and operations in a combat operations center, logistics operation center and tactical air command center environment to support a variety of training supported events and exercises.
  • Install, operate and maintain UNIX and Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/2010/2013 environments.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
  • Develop and maintain cross-boundary network solutions (e.g., firewalls, access control lists, etc.) between multiple networks or enclaves of various Mission Assurance Categories (MAC) and classification levels to enable the controlled interconnection of training systems, experimental systems, domain services, or coalition partners with BSC/CAST networks.
  • Install, configure, optimize, maintain and operate network servers, hubs, routers, and switches.
  • Provide end-user IT support for all BSC/CAST operating systems, peripherals, and applications.
  • Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware.
  • Perform IT related customer support functions including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements.
  • Research and provide recommendations for audiovisual, computer, computer network infrastructure equipment, and supporting training technology and peripheral equipment to support the BSC/CAST training.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least three years of experience in IT, which should include successful experience as a project team member.
  • Familiar with USMC and DoD cybersecurity compliancy, instructions, policies and regulations.

  • Documented experience and solid understanding of DoD enterprise network policies with a strong security mindset.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Be able to work an unstable schedule, to include holidays and weekends in support of exercises. Exercises often require shifts of 10-14 hrs per day, 7 days a week for the duration of the exercise, which normally are 2-3 weeks in length.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • Active NATO Secret security clearance required.
  • Must meet current DoD Cyber Security Workforce program requirements for Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher.

Information Technology Manager

SUMMARY

The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the successful performance of all IT operations on the property, and for performance of all IT requirements as assigned by Corporate IT.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Schedule, staff, and assist the Director of IT to lead the team to successfully provide around the clock technology support for hotel Guests, hotel Groups, Montage Associates, property Owners and transient Guests.

About the Role

We're looking for a Linux-proficient Systems Administrator to join our Production Operations team. In this role, you'll support Sony's infrastructure-as-a-service platform and manage its large-scale Linux-based hardware fleet. The ideal candidate is proficient in Linux CLI troubleshooting, understands cloud technologies, and can deliver effective, user-friendly support to internal teams across varying technical levels.

What you'll be doing:

  • Respond to support tickets and inquiries in a 24/5 environment, adhering to SLAs and prioritizing requests from internal customers and cross functional groups.
  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based hardware systems, proactively identifying recurring issues and collaborating with Service Reliability Engineers to deploy fixes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases to improve operational efficiency and reduce resolution time.

Core Knowledge - Candidates must demonstrate at-least 2 of the following (Practical Linux Experience Required):

  • Linux CLI troubleshooting
  • Kubernetes administration
  • IT Customer Support and Networking knowledge (Network+ level)

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux systems administration and 3 years in a technical support or IT service delivery role.
  • Proficiency with Linux CLI, Bash scripting, automation tools (e.g., Ansible), and familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., compute, storage) and foundational networking knowledge (Network+ level).
  • Experience using ServiceNow or Jira in a support operations context.
  • Strong communication skills with a knack for breaking down technical concepts into clear, actionable information while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$40 - $45 USD

·         Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and answer user inquiries regarding 

·         Review IT project requests describing user requirements to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

·         Analyze computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.

·         Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

·         Provide technical assistance and support.

·         Assist users in filling out and tracking status of Information Technology Procurement Review (ITPR) waivers for procurement of IT equipment.

·         Work as part of a project team to coordinate program development and determine project scope and limitations.

·         Have experience writing code using programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MATLAB, Python) or be capable of learning them to be able to modify existing code.

·         Develop methods for integrating different products so they work properly together (e.g., customizing commercial IT systems, peripherals, accessories, software, and applications) to fit specific needs.

·         Make database changes.

·         Identify and evaluate industry trends in IT systems and database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management.

·         Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure.

·         Develop standards and guidelines for use in the acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.

Qualifications:

·       Level I (Entry/Junior) - less than 5 years of experience. 

·       Requires a HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred). 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 

·       Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 

·       Works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

·       Position requires support of both water and land test and evaluation of amphibious and ground combat vehicles, to include, but not limited to water/land mobility, surf transitions, amphibious shipping, riverine operations, water/land recovery, and water/land towing.

·       Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.

Summary:

Responsible for service contract set up, monitoring and billing assessment of multiple programs related to Toshiba's ESS & National Account Clients fleet of devices. Ensure billing records are set up and invoiced accurately and promptly per agreed contractual service level obligations while exceeding establish revenue targets. Provides verbal and written customer service to both internal and external contacts while researching, reporting, resolving complex invoicing and contract issues to ensure a positive customer experience while adhering to established contract guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up contracts within established TABS system.
  • Coordinate, monitor, maintain verify, and reconcile assigned client asset base and ensure invoicing accurately reflects agreed upon terms and conditions between TABS and the client.
  • Ensure company policies are met. Identify items that may mitigate financial related risk.
  • Meet established departmental metrics as assigned.
  • Advise management where appropriate.
  • Review assigned accounts and ensure billing quality, accuracy, and service level requirements through assessment/analysis and auditing of the pre-billing report, estimated meter report, compensation report, open AR report and internal/external communications of asset location, disposition, and contract renewal.
  • Assess client needs, report on/identify trends and assist with the integration of billing resolutions through the creation of system enhancements (where needed), comparative billing, AR and contractual analysis, and resolution of complex client concerns to facilitate a high retention rate.
  • Develop and deliver a variety of monthly/quarterly/annual billing performance reports to executive decision makers within the client's organization.
  • Work with the client, sales, and service to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • AA Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of the following areas:
    • Contracts Administration
    • Billing Administration
    • Accounts receivables activities
    • Customer service within a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in equipment leasing a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of revenue recognition and DSO impact
  • Must have high caliber attention to detail and work output accuracy
  • Strong ability to resolve complex issues surrounding the auditing of invoices vs systems billing data and identifying contractual obligations within company provided standards
  • Experience extracting systems data and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to understand contractual service levels, and agreed terms and conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently interpret and manage contractual service level agreements with all parties •Must have good math skills
  • Must be proficient using a PC specifically in MS Excel & Word
  • Strong ability to research and identify solutions to billing problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at multi levels across an organization
  • Strong willingness to work both as a team and independently on projects inside/outside assigned scope of work
  • Oracle & Tableau experience a plus but not required
