Dahl Automotive continues to grow and is adding an IT Senior System Administrator to our great team! In this on-site position for the company, you will work from our Support Center located in Holmen and will support all of our entities and locations in this important role.
Your responsibilities and contributions:
- Compliance Measures (including FTC): Advise development and updates of IT Policy(s), Assessments and Test scheduling, Remediation from tests
- Coordinate and manage IT-related project management, involving the President and/or owners when needed.
- Assist with digital document storage system.
- Assist with the Company Cybersecurity training program.
- Maintain critical infrastructure on-site: Placement and/or installation of network equipment utilized throughout the organization (servers, switches, firewalls, door access, cameras, etc.).
- Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment.
- Procurement of equipment, supplies and materials for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items and completing installation jobs efficiently.
- Coordination with outside support vendors and internal staff for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.
- Troubleshoot IT-related issues that arise, in conjunction with the external IT provider, when needed.
- Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to appropriate support vendors or technicians for service.
- Install, upgrade and repair Microsoft Windows PCs and laptops with standardized applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations. Installation duties may also entail configuring end user tablet and/or smartphone devices.
- Train select end user personnel for the purpose of ensuring their ability to use new and/or existing hardware and software
- Identify IT equipment needs and present to leader(s) and order equipment, once approved.
- Previous IT experience
- Previous automotive IT experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
- Organized and friendly personality
- Ability to effectively manage others
- Time management skills
- Pleasant and professional demeanor in all vendor and internal communications
- Ability to multi-task and work independently on daily tasks without direct supervision
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record

As a Software Test Engineer, you will:
- Innova has a need for an experienced Software Test Engineer with a solid track record of completing assignments in a high volume, dynamic environment.
- The position is responsible for supporting internally developed applications and various commercial off the shelf (COTS) products used throughout the organization.
- Tasks include architecture, analysis, and design; coordination across multiple departments and projects; troubleshooting and resolution of related issues; bug fixes; Java software; testing; and documentation.
- The focus is on Java and testing, which requires a strong background in automation testing. This project uses Playwright for its end-to-end tests with a big focus on API backend testing.
- Technical skills include expertise in Java and Playwright. The ideal candidate will excel when working independently and, on a team, possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exhibits strong initiatives, and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment working with a wide variety of products and technologies.
