**About the role**

- Develops and documents test plans and works with stakeholders to review and obtain signoff prior to starting test execution. Monitors for material changes to the test scope and manages the changes through formal change request process
- Creates, presents and executes functional and acceptance test cases in accordance with the requirements of the solution/project.
- Manages complex project testing tasks from requirements review through deployment, including work assignment, prioritization, issue triage etc.
- Understands other Molina changes in process that may impact the customer and notifies the customer of such changes well ahead of their implementation.
- Able to work in a cross functional project team setting while also able to complete tasks individually within the provided timeline or as needed, accelerated timeline to meet the desired deployment deadline.

Our Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) & Testing Processes, will apply their demonstrated knowledge of NDE to lead improvement and sustain quality practices within our Composites supply chain.
SQE Deliverables Include:
1. Establish supplier process quality strategy for GE Aerospace.
2. Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Role is responsible for supplier processes, from initial qualification, maintenance, and necessary improvement driven by business quality needs.
+ As a senior SQE, the role will lead in mapping capacity, informing supplier strategy, and consult in GE Aerospace leadership decisions impacting Safety, Quality, and Operational metrics; as it pertains to the quality impacts from process and product yield.
+ Position includes regular supplier audits, in conjunction with our GE Aerospace process experts and system assessments for quality preparedness and process controls to remain adherent to GE Aerospace process specifications and agency regulations.
+ Requires specialized knowledge within the field of NDE, including but not limited to: CT scanning and Ultrasonic evaluation processes. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
+ Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Coordinating with the GE Aerospace Inspection Solutions (AIS) experts and operations teams and their approved supplier technical plans, to ensure product meets the approved process requirements and specifications.
+ Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
+ May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on specific topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED, with a minimum of 4 years of Non-Destructive Evaluation and Quality experience) + a minimum of 5 years Non-Destructive Evaluation operations, team leadership, and aerospace supply chain experience.
