As aTraining Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in elevating employee skills and performance through the development and delivery of impactful training programs aligned with company values. Reporting to the Bakery Training Supervisor, this hands-on role involves conducting needs assessments, designing engaging learning materials, and supporting all training initiatives to foster professional growth. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational abilities will be critical in delivering effective training solutions and ensuring continuous improvement.

Shift: 1st (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
  • Assist in developing training programs and prepare training plans as needed.
  • Support the development of the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
  • Support structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Deliver training courses.
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior.
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
  • Stay abreast of the current trends and tools in employee development.
  • Knowledge of electronic training information management systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree and 4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience, OR
  • GED and 7 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish required
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to develop reports and presentations, and training materials as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Alchemy is a plus
  • Food Manufacturing Experience

Pay Range : $28 - $30/hr

Job Title

Candidate must be located in the Midwest or Northeast region and will report to a location on a hybrid schedule.

Responsible for overseeing driver training and compliance within assigned geography. Coordinate and conduct training and coaching activities to ensure the safety of team members. Partner with regional Operations leadership to drive continuous improvement in training and compliance. Provide metrics and analysis to regional leadership on fleet performance.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Trainer Development Conduct train the trainer classes for new Fleet Champion Trainers. Conduct recertification for existing Champion Trainers. Support and consult trainers during the onboarding of new drivers and provide guidance on new driver progression and certifications.
  • Training and Development Develop and deliver training content to drivers, supervisors and managers. Deliver hands on driver training within assigned geography. Ensure that drivers are being trained in compliance with DOT and Medline standards.
  • DOT Compliance Partner with the compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, including driver qualification files, Hours of Service, driver inspections and on the road performance. Perform audits and inspections within assigned region as required.
  • Risk Management Monitor driver scorecards and conduct risk reviews with Fleet Supervisors. Compile metrics and provide trend analysis to Operations leadership on a continual basis.
  • Additional responsibilities include:
    • Provide coaching to fleet supervisors and trainers
    • Has limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact.
    • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects.
    • Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
    • Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience.

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years in a compliance or training role in a 100 plus vehicle fleet.
  • At least 2 years of experience applying and implementing training programs in a fleet environment.
  • At least 2 years compliance experience with a focus on FMCSR standards.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Experience leading and coordinating concurrent fleet projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
  • Position requires approximately 40% travel (within state and out of state).
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop responses and action plans to USDOT interventions and safety audits as needed.
  • Capable of performing extensive amounts of due diligence and research on incidents involving legal counsel in support of the company in legal proceedings.
  • Ability to effectively speak before groups of team members and customers of Medline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Minimum Requirements

- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in behavioral health (mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities)

Primary Purpose:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Directs and is responsible for optimizing the practices, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of the Electric Ops Training and OJT programs in a safe, reliable and efficient manner with the welfare of employees, customers, the public and shareholders in mind. Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises Crew Leaders, Demos and Apprentices/Helpers. Implements Company and departmental policies, initiatives, procedures & guidelines in order to satisfy corporate, business unit, municipal and regulatory requirements. Maintain and apply a working knowledge of the Exelon Management Model for business controls and meet management's expectation for conducting effective business. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees engaged in the execution and delivery of scheduled training and OJT activities, to assure the highest levels of customer services and maintenance to achieve Exelon's safety, reliability and performance goals.
  • Promote and maintain an environment that fosters a high-performance culture and a learning organization. Serves as a change agent for business initiatives and assures the human element is understood and considered. Provides timely recognition of employee contributions. Provide coaching, training, and evaluate employee performance.

This position supports various Supervisor Field Ops Training roles within Distribution Operations; OH progression / refresher, OES promotional, FLS Academy. Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4-7 years internal utility company experience (e.g., ComEd, PECO), or equivalent external experience 2-3 years internal supervisory experience (e.g., ComEd PECO, BSC, ExGen), or receive acceptable rating on Supervisory Assessment. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a high-performance culture. This position requires 24-hour on-call responsibility and varied work schedules as required by business needs.   • Bachelor's degree. Extensive knowledge of the collective bargaining agreement and related procedures, policies and processes.

  • Ability to carry equipment up to 50lbs.
