**Qualifications:**
+ Must hold a valid CDL Class A
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
+ Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
+ Follow all DOT standards and regulations
+ Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card
+ Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs

**Responsibilities:**
+ Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
+ Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
+ Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
+ Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
+ Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
+ Ability to work overtime as needed
+ Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

What You Will Do

  • Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day. Breaks are given in 2.5 hour intervals
  • Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination
  • Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License
  • At least 6 months of experience driving a dump truck, cement truck, or other commercial vehicle
  • Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must work in extreme heat, humidity, and cold conditions
  • Must attend mandatory safety meetings
  • Must work in a team environment
  • Must work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week

I. Job Summary

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

  • Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.

  • Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.

**Position Summary**
Operate tractor-trailer and/or straight truck to deliver merchandise from distribution center to stores in a timely manner and pick up and return merchandise/empty totes from stores to the distribution center. Large percent of fleet is 2013 or new automatic transmission equipment with on board computers and navigation systems. Enjoy the ability to be home most weekends and most nights or every other night. **Required Qualifications**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
+ One (1) year over-the-road driving experience as well as city driving experience required
+ Current CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
+ Ability to pass all Department of Transportation physicals and Substance Abuse Testing
+ Certification of Department of Transportation road test
+ Meet all Department of Transportation requirements concerning driver qualifications (FMCSR 391.11)
+ Ability to perform physical activities such as: lift 100lbs., bending, reaching, stooping, walking, standing, and climbing

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $38.82
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer combination in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Transport goods over long distances or within regional routes, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, ensuring all components are in good working order and reporting any defects or malfunctions immediately.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) of driving activities, hours of service, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement according to safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics coordinators, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, and any issues encountered on the road.

  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cab.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or regional preferred).
  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds as required for loading/unloading.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, including hours of service (HOS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to safety.
  • Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods (for OTR roles) or commit to consistent regional routes.
  • Familiarity with various types of freight and hauling equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
