Supervises staff in Patient Financial Services, overseeing daily team operations to ensure timely billing and collections on accounts receivables using the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing system and clearinghouses. Monitors staff productivity for both quantity and quality, ensuring appropriate actions and documentation are completed. Performs training for staff. Administers progressive disciplinary action, as needed, for performance and policy infractions. Monitors work processes to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience - hospital billing, processing claim edits, denials, appeals and managing accounts receivable.
Experience with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing or similar hospital billing systems.
In lieu of Bachelor's: 5 years of experience in a lead/supervisory role OR 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle accounts receivable for a large hospital or health system

Create and maintain database systems to store, manage and track information and data for assigned department. Generate reports using standard report writing from various medical databases and from the CS Link data warehouse. The opportunity
The Insurance Actuarial Advisory Service (IAAS), Property & Casualty (PC) practice within FSO is seeking an individual that is highly motivated with experienced pricing abilities, robust knowledge of data analytics and the associated tools and programming languages, excellent operational management capabilities and communication skills. This position will report directly to the Leader of the IAAS, Property & Casualty Actuarial Advisory practice.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Manager within the Insurance Actuarial Advisory Services Property & Casualty practice you will be challenged to participate on engagement teams focused on several of the following areas:
- Reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services
- Predictive Modeling and customer analytics
- Actuarial Transformation and modeling
- Rate setting all lines of business
- Financial forecasting, valuation
- Product development
- Mentor and develop junior team members

- Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen and remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
- Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups and speaking at seminars.
- Cultivate a good working relationship with the senior managers, fellow managers, and staff on the team.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or other related majors.
- Approximately 6+ years of experience in an actuarial-oriented position.
- A minimum of 2 years of project or people management responsibility.
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society required, Fellowship preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++.
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills as evidenced by preparing and presenting results and/or findings to clients or senior management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to understand and persuade on complex subjects both in writing and verbally.
- Experience working in a team environment on project-based work.
Ideally, you will also have
- Previous consulting experience or experience implementing new processes/procedures in a corporate environment.
- Experience with loss reserving software.
- Experience with rating engines and platforms.
- 2 years working with advanced analytics including knowledge of R, SQL, Python or similar data and analytics programming languages.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $146,500 to $68,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 175,700 to 305,200. THE OPPORTUNITY
The Financial Services Officer is responsible for opening new accounts and performing maintenance with accuracy, efficiency and professionalism, meeting the high quality service delivery standards of the Bank. The Financial Services Officer is responsive to the needs of both internal and external customers by maintaining a thorough knowledge of and introducing Bank services and products that may be of interest to them. Incumbents in this position are typically experienced in New Accounts who can handle the full range of retail and commercial transactions. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Handle all facets of new accounts including opening new accounts, superseding accounts, account maintenance, research projects, ordering checks and notary services.
- Cross-selling Banc of California products and services through a thorough knowledge of services and customer needs.
- Assist with daily and monthly audits and certifications. Prepare documentation for new accounts under the Bank's CIP/BSA and other Bank policies.
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of legal documentation required for various entity types.
- Be able to comprehend complicated new accounts deals and relied upon in satisfactorily handle complex client requests on their own, with minimum supervision.
- Input new accounts on IBS and submit complete package.
- Have a knowledge of and be a backup to other operational duties including Teller and assisting the Branch Operations Manager and Branch Manager.
- Provide assistance with end of day closing, to include cash balancing (vault & ATM).
- Assist with processing and scanning of daily Teller work.
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of treasury management products and the ability to identify when to cross sell these products.
- Help with the training and onboarding of new team members.
- Participate and contribute to the branch's overall goals.

What You'll Bring
- 1 years in new accounts preferred
- 2 years in Branch Banking Operations is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Basic understanding of Treasury Management including wire procedures and policies is required.
- Basic understanding of all key branch systems; basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel is required
- Detailed and accurate with ability to organize and prioritize is required
- Ability to match products with client needs.
