Senior Vice President, Retail & Events RecruitmentOur client, a global luxury fashion brand, is looking to hire a Temporary Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join their team. This position will be based at the Rodeo Drive location but will be driving to standalone boutiques throughout the West Coast. This is a full-time position starting as a 3-6 month contract with potential to become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business.
Job Duties Include:
- Collaborates daily with store teams and wholesale partners to maintain visual standards and implement HQ directives
- Coordinates visual installations, vendor work, and supports new store openings and events
- Trains store teams on visual merchandising and provides regular reports with photos, feedback, and recommendations
- Travels regularly to stores to ensure consistency, manage displays, distribute materials, and update visual records
- Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 3+ years of visual merchandising experience in a luxury retail setting; experience with RTW, accessories, and window installations
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player; store planning experience is a plus
Salary: 30 - 35/hour

This individual will join our creative team in translating our visual language into compelling in-store experiences, spearheading the development of design elements necessary for global expansion. Responsibilities
- Design and develop in-store collateral and display units to facilitate category display strategies, working in close coordination with global marketing, that uphold to brand standards.
- Establish and maintain visual and conceptual consistency across all visual merchandising channels globally and internationally, coordinating with creative and cross-functional teams in pre-and-post production stages.
- Lead the execution and implementation of retail design and that align with brand creative codes, values, and sustainability and budgetary guidelines.
- Develop and implement streamlined approaches to visual merchandising, ensuring that in-store experiences align with overarching strategies.
- Review and approve drawings for new retailers and markets, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines, and provide support as necessary.
- Implement design modifications for existing retailers, ensuring effective support for markets.
- Lead the production of print-ready files for internal reviews and vendor approvals.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising and vendor partner to enhance design/experience, which includes researching new materials and technologies.
- Develop and implement on-brand guidelines for regions and markets, encompassing standards, considerations, alternatives, and processes (e.g., approvals) to ensure brand integrity across all retail partners.
- Collaborate with sales, creative, and marketing teams to establish and implement processes and guidelines.
- Lead design for any physical creative expression of the brand, including but not limited to event design (press & consumer), experiential and pop-up design. Be the point person for experiential agencies, providing creative direction on projects, plans and renderings.
- Be nimble and open to tackling projects beyond visual merchandising, supporting and leading creative efforts for other brand, sales and marketing initiatives as they arise
- 7+ years of experience as a lead designer of display units, in-store expressions and event displays; previous experience working with national beauty retailers such as Sephora or ULTA required
- Advance experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google and the Microsoft Suite
- Understanding of 3D model rendering is a plus
- Must have a strong portfolio that exemplifies a broad range of concept development and execution for visual merchandising

Job Description
The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for upholding the company's high retail standards through effective visual merchandising and ensuring adherence to company visual guidelines. They support the store by using creativity to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, visual merchandising points, counters, and boutiques, creating a comprehensive brand shopping experience for customers and stimulating sales.
- Train and evaluate visual merchandising staff, coordinating responsibilities, setting priorities, and ensuring quality ongoing training and guidance are provided.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Product Sales Managers (PSMs), merchandising office, and DFS global visual merchandising team to formulate and problem-solve concepts for merchandise themes, store fixtures, merchandise placement, and in-store graphic needs.
- Ensure the timely installation of product promotions and seasonal displays, adjusting installations to reflect Company and regional image guidelines.
- Ensure all in-store signage aligns with corporate standards, working closely with the store team and signage and production team to assess signage requirements.
- Utilize department collateral forms (graphics, dimensional elements, and vinyl) to order in-house produced signage.
- Identify and address visual needs by constructing new props and modifying existing props as required.
- Maintain effective and professional relationships with internal and external business contacts.
- Maintain timely communications with DFS Global Visual Merchandising through email, telephone, and weekly department progress reports (formatted), including digital photo progress reports.
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is maintained for in-store visual projects, including purchase orders, invoices, and calendars.
- Communicate any deviations from project calendars and promotion installation schedules promptly.
- Ability to work independently and adapt working hours to accomplish necessary tasks.
- Proven visual merchandising management experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive relationships with in-store personnel to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to independently analyze situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license required.

This is an full-time, salary exempt position. The pay range is $85,000 - $103,000 annually. Actual rate will be determined based off candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors.
