+ Ensures all shipments receive the proper labeling, postal charges, and are packaged to arrive safely.
+ Prints daily sales receipts and cross-checks the computer software to ensure accuracy.
+ Keeps management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information on the company website.
+ Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
+ Prepares detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensures all items are packaged and shipped to company standards.
+ Tracks inventory and reports any shortages to sales team.
+ Works with other shipping clerks to see that all invoices are handled promptly and goods are shipped and stored properly.
+ Receives, counts, and stores items.
+ Records receiving data using computer.
+ Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment.
+ Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
+ Examines and inspects stock items for wear and defects.
+ Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
+ HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
+ Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
+ Able to use **REQUIRED** PPE at all times.
+ Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Position Overview: A Material Handler II operates various light industrial vehicles and/or RF devices to perform material handling assignments such as picking bulk orders, loading/unloading, and shipping/receiving of merchandise.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate powered light industrial trucks to move product to and from designated areas in the warehouse
- Follow daily procedures & protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings
- Review orders and place them within the appropriate areas as directed by the vehicle mounted computer manifest
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks before each use and fill out the inspection card

- Comfortable operating hand and power equipment safely
- Basic math and computer skills
