Job Description
A local Wind Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring the wind farm produces reliable power. They perform a range of duties including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as climbing towers for inspections and repairs. They also contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the wind farm by following safety protocols, maintaining records, and assisting with other tasks as needed
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Responsible for the service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at our Lower Snake River site in Pomeroy, WA.
+ Provide exceptional service to our customers, effectively analyzing and responding to challenging and hazardous situations.
+ The working environment involves working inside the wind turbine enclosure at an elevated height of approximately 300 feet.
+ Extensive training and testing will be provided, covering both safety protocols and technical job requirements.
+ Physical requirements of the job include, but are not limited to: climbing ladders (minimum of 267 steps), ascending stairs, standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, working above shoulder height, pushing, pulling, and exposure to vibration, chemicals, confined spaces, and extreme weather conditions.
+ Capable of efficiently taking on additional roles and responsibilities at an operating wind farm.
**What You Bring**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Knowledge in electrical, Hydraulic and mechanical systems. At least 1 or more years experience in an industrial work setting is preferred.
+ Proven ability to work safely and effectively in a collaborative team environment.
+ Proficient at coordinating tasks effectively, planning daily and weekly workflow, and ensuring high quality output; skilled in problem analysis and resolution.
+ Proficient computer skills, including competency in Microsoft platforms such as Outlook and Excel.
+ Must hold a valid Driver's License. Must be legally able to work in the United States. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations

+ Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations.
