Aldi to create more than 2,000 jobs across the UK

The supermarket currently has more than 920 stores with approximately 38,000 employees and plans to open more new stores, which will create store jobs every week.

Aldi is opening new stores in towns such as Canterbury, Swansea and London, and many other cities across the country.

Aldi's store assistants can earn up to 10.57 pounds in the country and 11.32 pounds in the M25, and the supermarket will also pay for the breaks. Other available store roles will include management positions, administrators and cleaners, and store apprentices.

The supermarket is also presently hiring for 900 jobs across its 13 Regional Distribution Centres around the UK, and an additional 175 vacancies at its Head Office in Atherstone, Warwickshire.

In addition, Aldi is looking for more than 80 job aspirants to join its next graduate job program starting in September.

Giles Hurley, Chief Executive Officer of Aldi UK, said: “I am unbelievably proud of our amazing Aldi colleagues and what they have achieved together over the last year.”

As we continue to invest in new stores, bringing unbeatable Aldi prices to millions of customers, we’re looking for thousands of more colleagues to join our incredible teams across the country. I look forward to welcoming every one of them in the future.”  He added.
