Jack in the Box plans to open eight stores next year and target over 125 locations in Chicago.
This marks the fast food chain’s comeback to Chicago after 40 years.
The new developments will feature traditional freestanding restaurants, end-caps with drive-thrus, conversions of existing buildings, and dark kitchens.

This move is part of the fast-food chain’s broader expansion into new markets, including Utah, Kentucky, Arkansas, Montana, Wyoming, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, and Mexico.
