Games Workshop staff receive £2,500 as festive bonus

Games Workshop has offered a £2,500 Christmas bonus for shop workers, model makers, designers, and support staff.
This marks a significant increase from the previous year's bonus of £1,000 less after half-year profits surged by over 12 percent.
The bonus pool, shared among the workers, amounts to £7.5 million, up from £4.5 million last year.

The Nottingham-based company is renowned for its fantasy figurines and the popular gaming series Warhammer and Lord of the Rings.
With approximately 530 stores under its belt, Games Workshop is attributing the bonus to the expectation of half-year profits reaching at least £94 million.
This rise comes alongside a nine percent increase in sales, totaling £247 million.
While the core gaming sales experienced robust growth, licensing income was a noticeable decline.
