We are seeking: a full-time support truck driver/mover delivery professional to join our extraordinary team! This opening is for our 10:30 am to 7:30 pm shift.
More Specifics:
- Properly load items onto the delivery truck.
- Safely control the functioning of a large box truck (through neighborhoods, downtown, businesses and residences, etc.)
- Unload and set up furniture/personal property in clients' homes/businesses etc.
- Provide outstanding, avid customer service and have amazing communication skills.
- Keep a clean and safe truck.
- Have the ability to lift frequently and safely (team lift)-moving unique pieces of design furniture in/out of our warehouse, homes, stores, and corporate offices.
- Be computer savvy- required to operate a tablet/scanner/smartphone.
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed.
- No CDL required (Class D-and straight truck driving experience mandatory-1 year preferred).
- Pass a pre-employment MVR.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering, receiving and transporting furniture, artwork and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports or rail ports. Constant understanding that you are the face of the company and remaining keenly aware that customer service is a top priority is required!
Essential Functions:
- Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, furniture or artwork.
- Maintains radio or telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
- Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Obeys all traffic regulations from City, State and Federal Laws.
- Keeps record of materials and products transported.
- Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
- Cleans, inspects and services vehicle.
- Operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
- Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges if needed.
- Assists in loading and unloading truck manually.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- All candidates must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a clean cut, well-groomed appearance and punctual.
- You have at least 2 years of previous commercial truck driving experience.
- You know our city's commercial trucking routes.
- You have at least 2 years of fine furniture handling and moving experience.
- You're flexible to work weekends as needed.
